Mi fiesta de graduación [ESP/ENG]

 Hola amigos de @family&friends, espero que estén teniendo una excelente y Bendecida semana, bueno por aquí estamos muy bien y les cuento que estos días me estaba recordando de varias cosas y caí en cuenta que nunca les conte lo que fue mi fiesta de graduación.   Bueno esto lleva casi un año de planificación, ya que es una especie de tradición en el colegio. Aunque la institución no participa en la organización del evento, son las mamás de la promoción quienes se encargan de coordinarlo. Por esta razón, la promoción tenía la intención de realizar un viaje a Margarita en lugar de una fiesta. Sin embargo, lamentablemente, las mamás del comité organizador no aprobaron la idea, así que nos quedamos con ese deseo en la cabeza.    Esta fiesta es bastante formal, en donde van los graduandos que quieran con sus familiares, pero no es algo obligatorio es solo para el que quiera ir, es una fiesta bastante grande que como dirían coloquialmente es tirar la casa por la ventana, y por eso nos dimos la tarea durante todo el año de recoger fondos, hacíamos rifas de viajes o teléfonos, hacíamos fiestas, actividades en el colegio en donde y algo que es tradición es que los papas de la promo hacen choripanadas los viernes y ese dinero va destinado para la fiesta, asi que si es un año de bastante dedicación para poder llegar a la meta. Y al mismo tiempo de eso las mamas buscan el salón para la fiesta, que aunque las promos que se graduaron antes a la mia siempre la haces en el mismo salón nosotros quisimos buscar otros para ver que tal y eso de la mano con buscar el dj, la hora loca y muchas cosas mas.    Una vez que se confirmó que la fiesta era un hecho, comenzó la búsqueda de vestidos. Como se iba a realizar en un salón bastante sencillo, desde el mes de junio ya empezaban las conversaciones sobre los vestidos y trajes, qué color llevar, qué diseño elegir, si comprarlo o alquilarlo. Algo que nunca faltaba era que, entre amigas, nos compartíamos las tiendas donde vendían vestidos, porque cada una quería algo diferente. En mi caso, siempre supe que quería un vestido rojo, aunque no tenía claro si lo quería con lentejuelas ni qué diseño exactamente. Al final, me decidí por uno rojo con lentejuelas y espalda descubierta, que me encantó.    La fiesta fue en la Quinta Esmeralda en Caracas, se realizo un dia domingo porque era el dia que había disponible ya que es un salón bastante solicitado para graduaciones, quince años y eventos en general. La llegada era a las 8:00pm para las fotos, a las 9 la cena y después a disfrutar de la fiesta. Ese dia yo fui sola porque mis papas no pudieron ir aunque realmente no estuve sola porque estuve con mis amigos. Cuando llegue como decía el protocolo te registran, pasas a las fotos y después de un largo rato empezó la cena, nos dieron carne y habían varios contornos como ensalada cesar, había una ensalada de mango, papas fritas y otros contornos.   Y para no hacerles el cuento mas largo, comimos y empezamos a bailar que realmente me lo disfrute bastante, como a las 3:00 de la mañana hubo un grupo de tambores que nos reímos bastante bailando tambores y después con los djs hasta que se acabo la fiesta pero sin olvidar la hora loca que también estuvo increíble. Well, we are doing very well here, and I wanted to tell you that I've been remembering several things lately and realized that I never told you about my graduation party.   Well, this has been in the works for almost a year, as it's kind of a tradition at the school. Although the school itself doesn't participate in organizing the event, the mothers of the graduating class are in charge of coordinating it. For this reason, the graduating class wanted to take a trip to Margarita instead of having a party. However, unfortunately, the mothers on the organizing committee did not approve the idea, so we were left with that wish in our minds.    This party is quite formal, where graduates who want to go can attend with their families, but it is not mandatory, it is only for those who want to go. It is quite a big party, which, as they would say colloquially, is pulling out all the stops, and that's why we spent the whole year raising funds. We held raffles for trips or phones, we held parties and activities at school, and it's a tradition for the parents of the graduating class to sell choripanadas (grilled pork sandwiches) on Fridays, with the money going towards the party, so it's a year of hard work to reach the goal. At the same time, the mothers look for a venue for the party. Although the graduating classes before mine always used the same venue, we wanted to look for others to see what they were like, and that went hand in hand with looking for a DJ, the hora loca, and many other things.    Once it was confirmed that the party was happening, the search for dresses began. Since it was going to be held in a fairly simple hall, conversations about dresses and suits began in June, what color to wear, what design to choose, whether to buy or rent. One thing that was always present was that, among friends, we shared the stores where they sold dresses, because each of us wanted something different. In my case, I always knew I wanted a red dress, although I wasn't sure if I wanted sequins or what design exactly. In the end, I decided on a red dress with sequins and an open back, which I loved.    The party was at Quinta Esmeralda in Caracas. It was held on a Sunday because that was the only day available, as it is a very popular venue for graduations, quinceañeras, and events in general. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. for photos, had dinner at 9:00 p.m., and then enjoyed the party. I went alone that day because my parents couldn't go, but I wasn't really alone because I was with my friends. When I arrived, as protocol dictates, they registered me, I went to have my photo taken, and after a long wait, dinner began. They served us meat and there were several side dishes such as Caesar salad, mango salad, French fries, and others.   And to cut a long story short, we ate and started dancing, which I really enjoyed. At around 3:00 a.m., there was a drum group that had us laughing a lot as we danced to the drums and then with the DJs until the party ended, but without forgetting the hora loca, which was also incredible.
