Description from Strava: Today’s walk was to Saks Salon to have lymphatic massage with Zöe. I booked to get her help to deal with the painful swelling that is still occurring in my left hand resulting from the late August accident.

Recovery is such an uneven curve isn’t it? We think we’re getting better and then we have a back slide of some kind, maybe even get discouraged.

But if I were sitting and talking with myself as I would with you, I’d find it far easier to be kind and curious about how help can be sought out and how to be patient.

The first photograph is right after I had my massage so you can tell that my light is a little brighter. The second photograph is of the treatment room before the massage began.

I’m just wondering, when was the last time that you had a massage? Where were you? What kind was it? Did it make you feel better?
