Longing

Hoy desperté un poco melancólica y realmente tenia ganas de dibujar, quizás no quería transmitir dolor en este retrato pero si una especie de nostalgia y anhelo, siento que la vida ha pasado en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, una parte de mi sigue atascada en el pasado y es difícil sacarla de ahí, dibujar a veces me ayuda a recrear un poco esos sentimientos extraños que suelo tener en días como hoy y que cada vez se hacen mas frecuentes, por eso la mayoría de mi arte tiene elementos similares casi siempre y me siento feliz de hacerlo de esta manera, este retrato me gusto mucho y lo pinte con mucho empeño y cariño. > Today I woke up a bit melancholic and I really felt like drawing, maybe I didn't want to transmit pain in this portrait but a kind of nostalgia and longing, I feel that life has passed in the blink of an eye, a part of me is still stuck in the past and it's hard to get it out of there, drawing sometimes helps me to recreate a little bit those strange feelings that I usually have in days like today and that are becoming more and more frequent, that's why most of my art has similar elements almost always and I feel happy to do it this way, I liked this portrait a lot and I painted it with a lot of effort and affection.

Realice mi boceto y comencé a pintar la piel, utilice colores un poco saturados y mezclando naranjas, rosas, rojo y beige, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para darle mejor forma al rostro, esta combinación de colores me gusto mucho porque me recuerda un poco a los retratos pintados con óleo, luego mezcle los colores y quise dejar un acabado con textura. > I made my sketch and began to paint the skin, I used a little saturated colors and mixed oranges, pinks, reds and beige, in a new layer I added more colors to give better shape to the face, this combination of colors I liked a lot because it reminds me a little to the portraits painted with oil, then I mixed the colors and I wanted to leave a textured finish.

Pinte las cejas y pestañas y para el cabello coloque un color oscuro de base, elegí un tono azul y luego empecé a experimentar con otros colores para añadir las luces, siempre me funciona mejor empezar con el color mas oscuro y luego agregar las luces, esta vez use tonos beige, rosas y marrones para el cabello, ahora comencé a detallar el rostro un poco más agregando zonas enrojecidas y finalice haciendo un ajuste de color leve donde aumente la saturación solo un poco. > I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes and for the hair I put a dark base color, I chose a blue tone and then I started to experiment with other colors to add the highlights, it always works better for me to start with the darkest color and then add the highlights, this time I used beige, pink and brown tones for the hair, now I started to detail the face a little more adding reddened areas and I finished making a slight color adjustment where I increased the saturation just a little bit.
