Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes en la comunidad de Hive Music Festival un cover muy especial que preparé con mucho cariño. Esta vez me animé a hacer una versión instrumental del tema “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, una canción que muchos relacionamos con la película Toy Story, pero que en realidad transmite un mensaje mucho más profundo sobre la amistad y el valor de estar ahí para alguien.
Decidí interpretarlo con guitarra y clarinete, buscando un sonido cálido y expresivo. La guitarra sostiene la base rítmica y armónica, mientras que el clarinete se encarga de llevar la melodía principal con ese timbre tan característico que puede sonar alegre, pero también nostálgico. La combinación de ambos instrumentos me permitió darle un aire diferente al tema, manteniendo su esencia pero con un toque más personal.
La experiencia de trabajar en este arreglo fue muy gratificante, porque pude experimentar con matices y dinámicas que pocas veces exploro. El clarinete, con su suavidad y versatilidad, se acopla de manera natural a la guitarra, logrando un diálogo musical que me gusta mucho cómo resultó.
Espero que esta interpretación les transmita la misma energía positiva que yo sentí al grabarla. Para mí, compartir música en esta comunidad es una forma de conectar y de aportar un granito de creatividad a un espacio que valora la diversidad de estilos y propuestas.

Today I want to share with you in the Hive Music Festival community a very special cover that I prepared with a lot of care. This time, I decided to make an instrumental version of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”, a song that many of us associate with the movie Toy Story, but that actually carries a much deeper message about friendship and the value of being there for someone.
I chose to interpret it with guitar and clarinet, looking for a warm and expressive sound. The guitar holds the rhythmic and harmonic base, while the clarinet takes the lead with its characteristic tone that can feel joyful but also nostalgic. The combination of these two instruments gave me the chance to bring a fresh touch to the piece while keeping its essence intact.
Working on this arrangement was truly rewarding, because it allowed me to explore dynamics and textures that I don’t usually work with. The clarinet, with its softness and versatility, blends naturally with the guitar, creating a musical dialogue that I really enjoyed shaping.
I hope this interpretation brings you the same positive energy that I felt while recording it. For me, sharing music in this community is a way of connecting and contributing a little spark of creativity to a space that values diversity and artistic expression.
