En esta ocasión presento mi versión instrumental del tema “Get Lucky”, originalmente interpretado por Daft Punk junto a Pharrell Williams. Esta pieza, que se ha convertido en un himno del groove moderno, la quise llevar a mi propio terreno sonoro: la guitarra eléctrica, trabajada completamente con loops en vivo.
La idea fue capturar esa energía contagiosa del tema original, pero desde una perspectiva más orgánica, construyendo capa por capa el ritmo, la armonía y el pulso que hacen que todo se mueva. Cada loop fue grabado con intención, buscando mantener el espíritu funky y el dinamismo que caracteriza a “Get Lucky”, pero con una textura más íntima y personal.
La guitarra se convierte aquí en la voz principal. No hay letra ni percusión real, pero sí una conversación constante entre riffs, acordes y matices. Cada parte del loop tiene su función: una base rítmica con cuerpo, un groove flotante que impulsa el movimiento y líneas melódicas que respiran sobre el conjunto.
Mi propósito fue rendir homenaje al poder del groove, a esa energía que te hace moverte sin pensar, a la magia del ritmo cuando se convierte en lenguaje universal. “Get Lucky” es un tema que habla de conexión, alegría y movimiento, y mi versión busca conservar ese mismo espíritu, pero con la esencia pura de la guitarra eléctrica y la libertad del loop.

This time I’m presenting my instrumental version of “Get Lucky”, originally performed by Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams. This track, a modern groove anthem, was something I wanted to bring into my own sound world — created entirely with electric guitar and live loops.dept
The idea was to capture the infectious energy of the original but translate it into something more organic, building the rhythm, harmony, and pulse layer by layer. Every loop was recorded with purpose, aiming to keep that funky essence alive while giving it a more intimate and personal texture.
Here, the guitar takes the lead role. There are no vocals or real drums, yet there’s a living conversation between riffs, chords, and nuances. Each loop has its own function: a rhythmic base with depth, a floating groove that keeps things moving, and melodic lines that breathe above the foundation.
My goal was to pay tribute to the power of groove — that energy that makes you move without thinking, the magic that happens when rhythm becomes a universal language. “Get Lucky” speaks about connection, joy, and movement, and my version aims to keep that same spirit alive, expressed through the raw soul of the electric guitar and the freedom that looping brings.
