¡Saludos a toda la familia de Hive Music Festival! Hoy regreso con un cover que significa mucho para mí: una versión instrumental en guitarra eléctrica del icónico tema “My Way”, inmortalizado por la poderosa y elegante interpretación de Frank Sinatra. Este clásico ha acompañado a generaciones, convirtiéndose en un himno de determinación, reflexión y autenticidad. Por eso decidí llevarlo a mi propio lenguaje musical a través de la guitarra eléctrica.
Para este arreglo trabajé una base cálida y envolvente que mantiene el espíritu original, pero le da un aire más contemporáneo. La guitarra asume el papel de la voz, fraseando con intención y capturando ese carácter sereno, firme y profundamente emocional que Sinatra transmitió en cada verso. Utilicé bendings amplios, vibratos expresivos y líneas melódicas suaves para construir una interpretación que respete la esencia del tema, pero que también aporte un toque personal.
Mi objetivo fue crear una versión que se sintiera íntima, elegante y algo cinematográfica, mezclando elementos del smooth rock, del instrumental melódico y de la sensibilidad clásica de la canción. Añadí armonías sutiles y capas ligeras para reforzar la atmósfera sin sobrecargar el arreglo, manteniendo siempre el protagonismo de la melodía principal.
Cada tramo del cover está trabajado con intención emocional: las partes más delicadas buscan reflejar ese tono introspectivo que caracteriza la canción, mientras que los momentos más intensos pretenden transmitir la fuerza y el cierre que Sinatra proyectó magistralmente. Quise que esta interpretación fuera un viaje sonoro que invite a escuchar con calma y dejar que la guitarra hable por sí misma.

Greetings to the entire Hive Music Festival community! Today I’m excited to share a project that means a lot to me: an instrumental electric guitar cover of “My Way,” the legendary classic made eternal by the unforgettable voice of Frank Sinatra. This song has resonated across generations, becoming an anthem of determination, self-reflection, and staying true to one’s own path. For that reason, I wanted to reinterpret it through the expressive voice of the guitar.
For this arrangement, I built a warm and intimate foundation that preserves the original spirit while adding a more contemporary touch. The guitar takes the role of the lead singer, phrasing with intention and capturing that calm yet powerful emotional energy that Sinatra conveyed so masterfully. I used wide bends, expressive vibratos, and gentle melodic lines to honor the original composition while bringing in my own nuances.
My goal was to create a version that felt elegant, personal, and slightly cinematic, blending elements of smooth rock, melodic instrumental, and the timeless sensitivity of the original recording. I incorporated subtle harmonies and light layers to enhance the atmosphere without overpowering the melody.
Each section of the cover was performed with emotional purpose: the softer passages aim to reflect the introspective tone of the song, while the more intense moments evoke the strength and closure that Sinatra delivered with such presence. I wanted this rendition to be a sonic journey—something you can listen to slowly, feel deeply, and allow the guitar to speak where words fall short.
