Greetings of the day,
Hello friends,
Today was a very busy day for me, but full of self -respect. When the alarm rang in the morning, while keeping his eyes closed for a while, he thought that today the same race will be there, but at the same time it was also decided that today some important work has to be completed. Also for myself, and for others. After having a light breakfast at home, I left for duty on time. The cold air after the rain gave a little relaxed, but the mind was already focused on the responsibilities of the day.

On reaching the hospital, first took the round of the patients. Reviewed the status of some serious patients recruited in ICU and also followed the concerned doctors. After this, my attention went towards our Code Blue Kit, which has become my habit to check daily. This is the only support in emergency and it is unacceptable to lack anything in it. Even today all the necessary equipment were found in the right position, which was a small but major relief.

In the afternoon, a small motivational session was held in the hospital premises, in which we were told how to move forward in professional ethics, teamwork and profession. The speaker said that the most important thing in the life of a healthcare worker is not just technical knowledge, but a "price and approach". These words continued to resonate in my mind for a long time. Perhaps because we are so busy every day that we forget these things. But these things make us professional.

By the evening, I attended a special training session, which was organized by an external BD company. This training was based on the prevention of Clabsi (Central Line Associated Blood Stream Infection). In this training, not only the seriousness of infection was explained, but it was also described how patients can be protected from unnecessary infection by following hand hygiene, tube inspection technic and dressing protocols. This session was especially useful for my nursing team and I thought that I would definitely share it summary.

I returned home as soon as the shift was over. But the day did not stop here. My wife had a health issue for some time, which we were very worried about. So I had already booked an appointment of an experienced gynecologist. We both reached the clinic together. There was a lot of crowd, but I realized that when it was about my health, I do not care about time. The doctor listened to us with full comfort and wrote some important tests. The wife's face looked a bit light. Probably because now she was able to get out of confusion.
It was almost 9 o'clock in the night when we returned home. There was a lot of tiredness, but the mind was satisfied. Today I played my professional responsibilities, learned something new as a learner, and also worried about my house as a husband. Perhaps this is the beginning of a balanced life from here.
Every day even in the crowd of hundreds of work, if we stay a little and think about what we are reaching, then the attitude of seeing life changes. Today was not just related to my duty or training - it was a learning that keeping both professional and personal life in balance is also an art, and every work done with service spirit brings self -suffering.
