I was introduced to steemit relatively early and enjoyed my time there and for a while, it supplemented my income, then I kind of drifted away. I know there was some drama went on and people moved here to Hive. The same person that got me on steemit has told me to come here so with nothing better to do during the lockdown I've logged in. I'm in need of a crash course refresher course and some basics like why are we now on Hive and not steemit and what are the differences? I can see all my posts and balance has transferred so is this new cryto in my wallet the same as my steem or totally separate? Basically, do I still have my steem and now also have new funds here or do I have to choose which to keep?
