# Greetings, community!
Since the beginning of **Proyecto Aliento**, one of our dreams has been to create useful tools and applications for Hive. For a long time, we were limited by time, resources, knowledge, and even the available technology.
*Today, things look very different.*
We have more experience, technology has advanced tremendously, we understand the Hive blockchain much better, and we now have access to modern tools that make app development far more accessible. The rise of AI agents and platforms like Replit, Vercel, OpenAI, Claude, and a very special tool called **Warp** has allowed us to move faster and with better results. Even a basic-to-intermediate level of development has helped us reduce mistakes, save time, and optimize resources.
With that in mind, we want to share **two tools** we've been working on recently. Some of you may have seen earlier versions posted by @eddiespino, but during the last week we've made significant improvements—so we believe you will find them more useful than ever.

## Upvote Value Calculator
**[https://vote.aliento.blog/](https://vote.aliento.blog/)**

There used to be an upvote calculator on Hive, but it disappeared. So we decided to build our own—simple, clear, and with several improvements.
It helps estimate the approximate value of votes for curators and content consumers.

## Witness Dashboard / Stats Site
**[https://info.aliento.blog/](https://info.aliento.blog/)**

This project originally started as a dashboard for our witness node, but it has slowly evolved. Our goal is to turn it into a complete statistics page and potentially a lightweight block explorer.
We've added multiple new functions to both the witness section and the general stats page, making it more useful for the broader Hive community.

# Upcoming Project: **Aliento Pay**
This is a much larger and more complex project.
The first version was created by **@enrique89**, and **@eddiespino** has been improving the visuals and part of the logic. However, it is ambitious and requires several additional components.

The main purpose of Aliento Pay is to manage and distribute curation rewards to our delegators.
**But we want to go further:**
* Users will be able to log in using **Hive Keychain**
* Each delegator will be able to choose how they want to receive their rewards:
* Liquid HIVE
* HBD
* Hive Power (vests)
* Or choose to donate their rewards
* A clean, transparent dashboard to track all rewards and distributions
* Backend logic and a reliable database to store user preferences and payout settings
All of this takes time, but progress is steady.
If you would like to see a **preview** of Aliento Pay, along with a deeper walk-through of the other tools, just let us know—we can prepare a full video explaining everything.
---
We invite you to test the tools and give us feedback. And expect bugs, there will be many. We still need to thoroughly test everything so we can identify and fix each one of them.
Of course, everything is open source, and you can find the repositories here:

**Note**: *@mantequilla-soft is a new open source project started by @meno, @eddiespino, and @kesolink. You are welcome to join.*
