Hello, splinter-warriors. I hope you all are doing well.

Today, after about 8 seasons, I return to the battle-lands where I once triumphed effortlessly. This time, I wish to make a comeback and climb the ranks once again. The battle that I'm about to share is small-scale, but it has the key elements that are required to win.
Without further ado, let's begin!
Battle Condition
The mana cap is 28, and there are 5 summoners to choose from: Water, Nature, Life, Death, and Dragon.
Battle Rules:-
- Little Leagues: Unit swith 4 mana or less can be used.
- Weak Magic: Magic attacks hit armour before health.
- Fab Four: Only 4 units are available for battle.
Keeping the mana cap, available summoners, and battle rules in mind, I chose to go with the death summoner as it provides high-class monsters at low cost.
Battle Details
Let's start the deck deconstruction from my side:
Summoner: Thaddius Brood(Ability: Decrease in HP and Magic Damage by 1 for all enemy units.)
Tank: Xenith Monk(No Ability).
Non-attacker: Riftwing(Ability: Flying, Scavenger, Backfire).
Magic Attacker: Revealer(Ability: Stun), Venari Bonesmith(Ability: Life Leech, Poison).
My strategy was to attack his tank from the front and use the abilities(poison, life leech, stun) of the magic attackers to try and thin out his numbers. Since my magic attackers have small damage, I hoped that his non-attacker would gain an HP after my tank falls and would continue to buy me rounds until all of his units fall.
My overall damage per round is 4. It could rise to 6 if poison effect is added.
Now, the opposition's deck:
Summoner: General Sloan(Ability: Increase in ranged attack by 1 for all ally units).
Tank: Sunkai Harvester(Ability: Reach).
Non-Attacker: Scavo Hireling(Ability: Repair).
Ranged Attacker: Xenith Archer(No Ability).
His strategy was to keep repairing his tank's shield while his tank and archer would slowly but surely chip away my tank's HP and then the rest.
His overall damage per round is 3.
Major Events
The first unit to fall was his tank thanks to the poison status making it a 1 v 3 situation.
Moments later, his non-attacker fell as it got swept with the poison status as well.
Lastly, his ranged attacker fell once it was rendered useless as it camu up to the forefront of the deck.
Results
Right at the beginning of the battle, I knew I was about to win in this gold league battle since his units were seriously underlevelled and not to mention his unit choices were very poor. This is why to make this "pay-to-earn" game enjoyable, you must invest or rent good monsters and units and strategize accordingly to make it into the higher leagues.
