1021 - More of Mount Mariglem Shots for Wednesday.

🌾Happy Wednesday, beautiful Hiveans! This midweek is not about hurdle but it’s where small efforts quietly become part of the plan. Like a tindera opening her sari-sari store early in the morning or students sharing their baon under a tree during recess time. Sending you loves and know that your quiet work is stitching our Hive’s daily stories😉. Kapit lang pero dahan dahan. Hold on but gently. We’re all pedaling through this Wednesday all together. 💛✨

And now for our daily shots, a continuation of our trek in Mount Mariglem. The early morning air was crisp and greeted us as we started on our hike towards from peak 1 to Peak 2, the second stop on our journey to the summit of Mount Mariglem. The sky was covered with rain clouds which were overhead because of the current Crising typhoon at that time. Fortunately the clouds held back their rain, allowing us to proceed without bringing out our capotes or rain costs yet.

As we walked with the cold morning breeze, the path were following which the guide leads us was like a winding snake through the landscape of wild plants and rocks, it was a journey of discovery revealing new vistas covered with fog mostly. The surrounding areas of mountains and valleys were shrouded and hidden by the early morning fog. The landscape was like a world of shadows full of mystery and enchantment like a dream😂, I have a diarrhea also during this hike and I was so weak I kept getting left behind but glad we brought all sorts of medicine and energy drinks that kept me going.

My wife's phone captured all the hazy foggy moments of beauty that unfolded before us. We paused frequently and took photos of the hazy mountains and the valleys around us. The fog painted the landscape with soft tones, as if transforming the familiar sight into something extraordinary.

As we approached Peak 2, the path became rock filled and chest pounding steps which made it more challenging for me with my current condition that time. Yet, with each step, we got rewarded with new perspectives of what we around us from there. The summit was still a distant dream but only a three more peaks to get which could be about an hour according to the guide.

Upon reaching Peak 2, the view was already breathtaking though still foggy or misty. The hazy mountains and valleys stretched out full of greens. We stood there on peak 2 for some time with our hearts full and our cameras capturing the moment, the memory and the feeling of standing on top of a world of fog and rain clouds.
