1024 - Shots at Pagudpud Ilocos Norte for Wednesday.

Moving on to our daily shots this time in Ilocos Norte. Finally we arrived one warm afternoon at Villa Izakaya in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, it somehow unfolded like a scene from a dream where the gentle warm sun and the low whispers of the sea created a perfect ambient of peace. When we arrived at three in the afternoon, we immidiately savored the moment of their peaceful and quiet environment.

The villa is packed in the middle of lush trees which provide shade against the warm embrace of the sun. My wife, my son, our friend and I were the sole guests at that moment and got treated to a private paradise, where the white beach stretched out before us all on our own.

The beach is somehow shallow and rocky, not enough to dive but to just walk on to. The sand was soft and white which added charm to the landscape. There were tiny pools which were perfect for a gentle dip of the feet and body, enough just to feel the salty water. We wandered along the stretchy shore with our feet sinking into the warm sand as the waves gently laps.

We waited as the late afternoon comes in with the impending sunset. The sky began to shift as the sun started its slow descent and at the same time painting the heavens with hues of orange for the golden hour. We settled into sands as our eyes were fixed on the horizon while taking photos. The warm windy air is now turning into a gentle breeze still with the scents of salt and sea.

As we watched the sunset, the world around us seemed to slow down and so quiet you can only hear the waves splashing gently on the shore. There's also the gentle rustle of the leaves behind us just where the villa is a few meters away. We sat in silence with our hearts full and our groggy minds finally at peace.
