1041 - Random Baguio City Shots for Wednesday.

And now for our daily shots this time about random stuff when we were in the city of pines last weekend. When we were about to leave to explore the city when we noticed on the balcony of the second floor was a corgi dog that's curious and its head peeking at us below. It seems to be alone in the terrace or balcony of the second floor transient house we're also staying at.

The dog was there sniffing the green plants on the balcony. The moment we catch its attention, it gets closer to the railing and its curious stare never left us.

Then our exploration of Baguio City started with a visit to the iconic Mansion which is the vacation house of the current president of the country. There are numbers of people at the grand gate with a nice looking architecture.

We took photos at the gate and about ready to explore it's lawn area however, our plans to explore further were halted as the sky turned dark from gloomy and a sudden rain began. The rain is a common occurrence in Baguio because of its humid and wet climate. We quickly made our way to a nearby food stop to eat something and to escape the relentless rain.

Our next stop was the enchanting Baguio Botanical Garden which is a place where nature unfolds in every corner, they have a comfort room also that's been top rated. Like us as non-residents, we paid an entrance fee of 100 pesos,l which is somehow a big price for the experience, that is just my opinion. The garden is a vibrant colors of life, it was filled with families enjoying the cool mountain air, their kids running around and elderly couples doing strolls.

Among the many garden attractions, we went to a greenhouse that housed a numbers of cactuses. These tiny adorable plants with their unique shapes and textures, were a great subject to photograph. The greenhouse is a miniature desert landscape filled with these tiny desert dwellers.
