I found the time to finally challenge myself and interpret the prompts I made for the Plant Stories drawing prompts. Day 1: The Plant So, without further ado, let me introduce you to my little leafy friend: Mossy
I wanted to give Mossy a cheerful and helpful personality like. looking out for all the little critters in his place. He looks like a bulb that had just sprouted and here he is showing his muscles. Strong and fit ready to help. I started with a simple sketch, just getting his basic shape down like that round body and the big leaf on his head. Then I moved on to the digital part, and I mostly used brushes that give that cool marker effect. To achieve that friendly look, I went with those big, simple eyes and a happy little smile. The green shades just felt right for his plant character.
