In the mirror stained by years and time, I am watching myself, scrutinizing my reflection, and I judge what I see, what I observe. There is and never was a crown upon my head, no glory rests upon my weary shoulders, yet I am a present tyrant, with a cruel voice disguised as reason, as implacable duty to what is right, to what is expected of one like me. I solemnly dictate what I must say and what I shall say today, tomorrow, and always. But today I decided to oppose the king, who rules no land, near or far, but my own, a king who has sentenced me to live by laws and rules that feel right yet unjust. Laws that have kept me from creating and being, from feeling, granting me only manifold sufferings. I am that king… or rather… a version of myself doomed to repeat cycles. It is comfortable and safe to live under his orders, yet it brings no happiness. Within me too hides rebellion against his laws, the desire to overthrow his reign and mandate. I want no crowns, I prefer chaos over false peace.

En el espejo manchado por los años y el tiempo me estoy mirando, divisando mi reflejo y juzgo lo que miro, lo que observo. No hay ni hubo corona en mi cabeza, no descansa gloria sobre mis cansados hombros, pero soy tirano presente, con la voz cruel que de razón se disfraza, de implacable deber de lo correcto, de lo que se espera de alguien como yo. Dicto solemnemente lo que debo decir y lo que diré hoy, mañana y siempre. Mas hoy decidí oponerme al rey que no es monarca de tierra alguna, ni lejana ni cerca, sino mío propio, un rey que me ha sentenciado a vivir con normas y leyes que se sienten correctas pero injustas. Leyes que me han impedido crear y ser, sentir, y solo me han dado sufrimientos varios. Yo soy ese rey... o más bien... una versión mía destinada a cumplir ciclos. Es cómodo y seguro vivir bajo sus órdenes, más no trae felicidad alguna. En mí también se esconde la rebelión a sus leyes, el deseo de derrotar su reino y mandato. No quiero coronas, prefiero caos a falsa paz.
