I loved the way you told it. everything feels so realistic that I saw myself there, with an empty stomach and my dignity trembling. The way you describe injustice hunger, and betrayal from such a human and simple perspective makes it very real It s sad how an unfonded accusation can break trust between friends, especially when theres need and vulnerability involved. But it's also hopeful to see how, with humility and truth whats broken can be repaired. The part about the man's wife conting the grains of rice made me laugh, although it was also so sad. And that ending, with the guy apologizing in person... thank goodness! Because otherwise, I would have gone to complain myself. Thank you for this very real and well told story. A hug, and may joy and blessings never fail you.
