Back again in Launferburg last month, with its city walls and towers, is laid out in terraces. wehre more than 200 years ago Napoleon divided the town in two. Here of the left bank of the rhine river. Today, the Rhine is the only dividing line between the two towns. A small bridge over the Rhine connects to the much smaller part of the old town on the German side. It's a pleasure to stroll through the medieval streets. Located directly on the Upper Rhine, you can also enjoy scenic boat trips to beautiful destinations. At its highest point on the hill are the remains of Laufenburg Castle. Below the castle ruins is the town church, built in 1479. The city offers a unique charm rooted in centuries of history.

From the city tower, the view stretches across the river, and the church bells ringing through the narrow streets lend a special charm to this peaceful place.
