Sometimes a quick trip into the slack country behind the resort is nice. The chair lift assist is great. Too bad the resort doesn't have a touring pass price to go with the promotion of the resort backcountry.
Its annoying when the resort hates the local skiers. We bring our own lunches and don't shop in the village so we get soaked with a full lift price when the hikers in the summer can pay for a hiking pass at 1/4 the cost. Anyway... hahaha this is why I ski tour all the time.
