Si ya eres algo mayor como yo, tal vez jugaste un poco con Microsoft Acces y te diste algunos golpes relacionando tablas sin saber ninguna teoría previa, pues déjame decirte que con Airtable es mucho más fácil, no es que sea lo mismo, en absoluto, pero me trajo ciertos recuerdos. Me ha estado interesando bastante esto de [Airtable](https://airtable.com/invite/r/gLttSajk), así que hice el curso de [Platzi](https://platzi.com/r/alteramelia395) que tiene un profesor espectacular, aunque el curso ya está bastante desactualizado porque esta herramienta ha estado creciendo aceleradamente, pero de igual forma fue muy útil para mí y me guio perfectamente, no solo en un paso a paso, tutorial o manual, el valor que más le encontré a este curso fue el advertirme las increíbles potencialidades que tiene y los ejemplos prácticos con los que el profe del curso ha gestionado sus startups. > If you're a bit older like me, maybe you played around with Microsoft Access and struggled a bit with linking tables without any prior knowledge. Well, let me tell you that with Airtable it's much easier. Ahora que comenté esto, me parece importantísimo mencionarles que este post no es un tutorial para crear una aplicación en [Airtable](https://airtable.com/invite/r/gLttSajk), tampoco un manual para crear bases de datos, simplemente vengo con la emoción propia de una nerd que encontró un juguete nuevo, un juguete al que se le puede sacar muchísimo provecho y que puede rendir muchos frutos. Total que entré a crear, opté por la opción de crear una app desde cero ideando un prompt que explicara todos los requerimientos, también podía hacerlo desde cero, cero total, o escogiendo alguna plantilla que pudiera resultar útil. Decidí salir adelante con un prompt y pensé crear una base de datos para el tema que para estos días ocupa mayormente mi atención, el suministro de los tratamientos de Amelie, los ejercicios de rehabilitación y las actividades para entretenerla. > So I started creating, and I chose the option to create an app from scratch, devising a prompt that explained all the requirements. I could also do it from scratch, completely from scratch, or choose a template that might be useful. > > I decided to go ahead with a prompt and thought about creating a database for the topic that is currently occupying most of my attention: Amelie's treatments, rehabilitation exercises, and activities to entertain her. Expliqué todo en mi prompt y voila la magia comenzó a suceder, frente a mis ojos se comenzó a estructurar una base de datos así, de tal manera que yo solo pensaba en Ernesto, mi profesor, las entidades, las propiedades, los registros de ejemplos, las diferentes tablas y sus relaciones y luego las diferentes vistas posibles, los formularios asociados y las diferentes aplicaciones que pudieran interesarme con esos datos. Pude interactuar con la IA para iterar algunos aspectos, imagino que una persona con buenos conocimientos de programación sacaría un gran provecho de esta posibilidad con su jerga apropiada y el dominio de muchísimos más parámetros. > I explained everything in my prompt, and voilà, the magic began to happen. Obtuve un resultado que me dejó feliz, una app que me ha ayudado a organizarme con todas mis responsabilidades de mamá en esta etapa tan importante en la recuperación de mi hija.
