Hola Hivers espero que todo vaya bien.
De nuevo en mi blog vengo a contarles los avances sobre la cirugía en la que fue intervenida mi hija.
Ya se cumplió una semana este jueves y atravesamos días muy fuertes, dolores extremos y la imposibilidad para moverse fue lo que signó nuestros primeros días.
Al pasar el fin de semana, el lunes recibimos en casa a la familia y ya mi nena se sentía muchísimo mejor, ya no había dolores, pero si mucho miedo a cualquier movimiento descontrolado.
Desde d la primera noche en que no tuvo dolor entonces el tema para no poder dormir era la picazón o comezón en las piernas producto de los yesos, aunque son yesos sintéticos el factor de esa sensación es común.
Las fotos de este post fueron tomadas en su primer día en casa. Les comparto una foto donde vamos en el carro, en camino del hospital a la casa. Fue muy duro, sentía mucho dolor y mucho miedo, mi esposo tenía que manejar muy despacio para que ella no sintiera cualquier mínimo movimiento. Por suerte se durmió en el camino.
Al llegar a casa ella y yo nos sorprendimos porque encontramos que su cama estaba justo en la sala de estar. Mi esposo se esforzó muchísimo para tener todo preparado de esta forma, la idea era que ella pudiera pasar el día cerca de mi cuando estuviera cocinando, porque las habitaciones están en la planta de arriba, y también le quedó el televisor en frente de la cama.
Otro buen punto con esta ubicación es que tiene al lado varios muebles y una hamaca para que siempre pueda estar acompañándonos. Pero en las noches la subiriamos cargada para dormir en una cama pequeña junto a nosotros.
Al poco tiempo de llegar Amelie comenzó a crear con algunos de los [materiales de arte y manualidades que le buscamos para pasar este reposo}] (https://peakd.com/hive-165757/@alteramelia/unboxing--el-viaje-de-recuperacion-de-amelie) que los ha aprovechado muy bien.
Así hemos pasado los días, mientras ve TV, pinta o juega con Play Doh, lee y juega video juegos.
Tenemos en los planes jugar varios juegos de mesa, pero no nos animamos tanto nosotras dos solas, estamos convenciendo a los chicos de la familia para que también jueguen con nosotros.

I'm back on my blog to tell you about the progress of my daughter's surgery.
It's been a week since Thursday, and we've been through some very difficult days. Extreme pain and the inability to move were what marked our first few days.
After the weekend, on Monday we welcomed the family to our home and my little girl was feeling much better. She was no longer in pain, but she was very afraid of any uncontrolled movement.
From the first night she was pain-free, the reason she couldn't sleep was the itching in her legs caused by the casts. Although they are synthetic casts, this sensation is common.
The photos in this post were taken on her first day at home. Here is a photo of us in the car on the way home from the hospital. It was very hard; she was in a lot of pain and very scared, and my husband had to drive very slowly so that she wouldn't feel any movement. Luckily, she fell asleep on the way.
When we got home, she and I were surprised to find that her bed was right in the living room. My husband worked hard to get everything ready this way. The idea was that she could spend the day close to me when I was cooking, because the bedrooms are upstairs, and she also had the TV in front of her bed.
Another advantage of this location is that there is furniture and a hammock nearby so that she can always be with us. But at night we carried her upstairs to sleep in a small bed next to us.
Shortly after arriving, Amelie began to create with some of the [art and craft materials we found for her to use during her rest period](https://peakd.com/hive-165757/@alteramelia/unboxing--el-viaje-de-recuperacion-de-amelie), which she has made good use of.
This is how we have spent our days, while she watches TV, paints or plays with Play Doh, reads and plays video games.
We plan to play several board games, but we're not so keen on doing it just the two of us, so we're trying to convince the other members of the family to play with us too.
