Hi everyone! For this blog I'm gonna share with you my art drawing for splinterlands fan art contest.
Since I always love how unicorn looks like, I decided to draw this SPL character named WAR PEGASUS. My art is a combination of PEGASUS with a unicorn horn.
This is my reference.
"Most pegasi prefer solitude and shy away from others. Rare is it to befriend one, and rarer still is the pegasus that allows a rider upon its back. There are many accounts of attempts to capture and tame these creatures, but pegasi are intelligent celestials of the upper planes, not animalistic beasts, and all attempts to tame them have failed. Legend has it that, many ages ago, Queen Carliona le Fou became so incensed at her failure to tame a captured pegasus that she struck its head with her blessed sword, and the blade stuck fast. The pegasus reared in anger, and a blast of lightning shot from the tip of the sword and struck the queen down. Thus the war pegasus was born. In reality, it isn't a sword at all but a long shard of bone that courses with celestial energy. Perhaps it is a genetic flaw, or perhaps it is the consequence of a unicorn and pegasus union thousands of years ago; none can say. Whatever the case, because of their martial appearance, many assume these creatures charge their foes and impale them. In truth, the war pegasus fires celestial energy from the blade's tip, and some Praetorian lore blames these winged steeds for the spectacular displays of forked lightning that tear through the skies on stormy nights."

This is the final result of my art. Based on the lore of this character, it was hard to tame down, but for my drawing I decided to draw a character with tamed look, a winged horse with a horn of a Unicorn. hope you liked it. Thank you!
