Life can be reflection of Rugby. Just as life has a commonality that no one can succeed alone at a task, so rugby players work as a team to achieve their goal. Family, friends, and the community form part of maintaining growth and progress as much as they can help in the rugby game. Similar to the path of life, where there are many obstacles and opponents trying to block our progress, many walking heads will face the same when enjoying the play in a rugby field.
Adapt and make quick decisions whenever the ball moves around; many times, this occurs without warning in life, with the effect that one has to look for a solution. In rugby, falling on the pitch maneuvering to get back up again; so it is in life with failing and making mistakes as a necessary process.
Rugby teaches us discipline, hard work, and perseverance. Only those players who are willing to train constantly and stay focused will have a good chance of success; just like life, really, where hard work and patience often lead to success. Scoring points and winning the game represent the main goal in rugby, just like in life, where the goals may differ: some seek happiness, some seek success, some seek meaning.
In this regard, rugby signifies life as teaching us never to stop fighting, join together, and never give up on ourselves against the difficulties that we face. Life, just like a rugby match, is full of challenges and teamwork and that spirit to keep going.
