For today's #monomad contest.
I've been taking more walks lately as the weather has been successively warmer. This time I decided to take a stroll on the right side of the coastline in Kadıköy, Istanbul.
The square in front of the harbor still has lighted decorations from the New Year's Eve. I wonder if the municipality of the district is too lazy to remove them or if they think they are a nice landscape decoration and will keep them there for a while. I think they look nice. People happily take pictures in front of them.
I didn't find much to photograph on my long coastal walk, but I can show you a night view. The illuminated place on the opposite side is Fatih, the historical district of Istanbul on the European side. So you are looking from Asia to Europe :)
And bonus: A depressing photo. For some reason the bare image of a leafless tree in winter always reminds me of death.
