One week has passed since we reopened our doors to the public. While I am writing these lines @Kristall97 continues to work diligently on the code. After all, it's the weekend and that means for us (including a new coffee machine for Eric) to keep on working.
This post, will be a bit longer and I will try to fill you with information in the style of my Brain-O-Mate, so that you will only see purple-pale blue. So take care. :-)
First of all, what is the current state of the art and things in the project?
The basic function, that you can use the hashtag of the CC and our system reacts reliably to it, now seems to run smoothly after some minor stumbling blocks. I personally observe every transaction and check it. This is still possible because we don't have the same number of users as before.
Our system, had problems to detect the bots, this error, is now no longer active! The damage is manageable and we will replenish your credit accordingly.
Many don't know that we have built our system in such a way that you can also provide old posts with a Hashtag CC and thus automatically reward the respective comments.
For example, if you want to spice up your #Introduceyourself post a bit, just edit it with the CC in its hashtag bar. We are time independent from the blogchains and therefore a "live" system.
What does NOT work is to use the hashtag in a comment or directly in the post. I am writing this because I noticed that some people have tried this. Unfortunately we will not offer this function directly to you, because the calculation effort and the error rate would be immense. After all, the letters CC are not exactly unique on a blogchain. :-)
Furthermore the payment function seems to work correctly now. If this should not be the case, please let us know. You can reach both of us until the support area is activated, best under our respective accounts.
As Eric has already told you, the opening of the website has been postponed until after the Hardfork of Hive. The website and its functions should be safe and orderly. Also, you may have read that our service will get its own hub to become more independent from the existing ones and that the burden of our project will be carried by us. With this we can also make you a more reliable offer. There have been problems with the Blockchain lately, as some of you may have noticed.
The most important question for all investors and users of the CC would be what will happen with your old CC credits on the Steem-Engine!
Very simple, you can write them off. Because the credits on the Steem-Engine are no longer accessible for you, since our wish to be listed there.
Joking aside, you will of course get the old credits credited to the new fixed price and ported. According to the highest level of the old CC-price, no one will be able to criticize it. A small drop of bitterness, we have to announce nevertheless. We had distributed quite large CC credits to particularly hard-working partners. These will be shrunk to a reasonable amount in order not to produce artificial whales. Until further notice, I will manually calculate over 1300 accounts and then distribute the credits.

The volume of the CC is still 333,333,333 CC and is based on the volume of the blogchains. The price is fixed at 0.1 Hive and is unchangeable. If the hive increases, the CC value increases as well.
There was something with the other chains and the CC?
Exactly, we will port the CC to the blurt blogchain in winter and make it available for the steem. Please keep in mind that the price for the hive is the same as it is now.
Also very important to note that you can EITHER assign a CC on the blurt, or on the hive, or on the steem. It will not be possible to award a CC on all three chains! Of course this will increase the value of the CC. Also, many early CC members know that we want to integrate other forums and social media into our system. The volume will always remain the same.
Where, can I exchange my CC for Hive/Blurt/Steem?
In the summer we told you that we did not get a special permission from the German BaFin and therefore we are NOT allowed to offer a marketplace for it. That's a pity, but of course it is understandable that we don't want to make ourselves punishable with this project. An exception license for a marketplace, is unfortunately not possible because there is simply no corresponding law. I think, we would have got it otherwise, because of our rather manageable size.
So you will have to wait the next few weeks for us to make the system secure enough so that you can send the CC to each other and trade with each other. This is legally speaking, the safest thing for all of us. For now, we don't have a new listing on the Steem and Hive engine yet. To make this possible, we could use your help by simply asking the people in charge if there is a pegged version of our coin there. We are also on the way to ask for external exchanges.
All this can and will probably take some time! But Rome wasn't built in one day, it is rumored that they are still working on it. :-)
Maybe it is interesting for you to know what kind of money we put into this project. It's about 200 Euro per month for the servers of the bots and the AI. This is of course not a small amount and is only based on the fact that we will succeed in encouraging the blogchains to be filled with more good comments from you.
What has changed, compared to the past?
Just about everything that takes place in the background. The CC, is now a stand alone project and independent from the engines. Especially the story with the inflation, due to the missing technical possibility to create the project so that you can assign the CC from your wallet, is finally history.
You want to reward a comment? Then you have to pay for it. In the past, we did that and the CCs were taken from our wallet and given to your commentator. Therefore, we had to make it more and more difficult to use the hashtag. You needed more and more CC in your wallet to activate our service.
This was complex and originally NOT what we had in mind when we created the CC. The step to independence was also made easier thanks to the fork from Steem to Hive and the experience we had already gained. So we can say thank you for this dilemma, because it motivated us once again to look for better solutions. They say yes, if you want it to be good, then do it yourself. :-)
The money, the money. What happens with my money when I send it to the @commentcoin?
Very simple: From a legal point of view we are NOT allowed to offer you a faithful manual contract again! BUT, we handle the income as follows:
90% of the income will be used for (fair/ no vote circle!!!) voting and will be power up accordingly. This power, will be as decentralized as possible! Later this will be done automatically, for now we do it manually. The remaining 10% we take as payment for the servers and as "salary" for our work. This, by the way, has been running for 15 months and we haven't had any cake yet. :-)
What happens if someone wants to farm the CC through some gap?
Here, too, our system is armed against attacks. We can now block and exclude toxic users. This is done transparently.
The Hive, is our "stable coin". This means that the price of a CC is based on the hive value. The blurt and the steem must also be based on this price. Of course, the price may change at future exchanges. But we believe that due to our fixed price, there will be no great volatility and you can calculate "well" with a CC. After all, it should not be an object of speculation, but should serve the purpose of encouraging and rewarding comments.
There might be a conflict of interest between me as a quite active user on the blogchains and earning my own currency. Thereby, I would be interested in your opinion. May I (alucian) earn CC?
We want to promote good bot services. Of course, one of our bot services is blacklisted, so that an automatic comment can't be rewarded. But that doesn't mean that we want to oppose the services and we are always open for cooperation.
These days, we are also developing a small CC-own block explorer. Why actually, if one could already use this service here for example?! https://hiveblocks.com/@commentcoin We would like to offer you a simplified version on our website that even a complete blockchain layman can easily and safely follow what is happening with his CCs.
We are also working on the fact that there will be a CommentCoin own "trendinglist". There you will be able to see, among other things, which contributions have been commented on most often. In addition, you will be able to select your native language to find the posts you can comment on more easily. It is logical that an American is unlikely to speak Russian or Mandarin and of course is less interested in this language.
A special concern is our AI test phase, for which we are still looking for a limited number of participants. Our AI evaluates you as a whole user and learns from your contributions. In the test phase, the AI would write to you if you have written under an article with the hashtag CC and tell you what your current rating is. For me personally, this is an exciting time, because I was able to gain some insight into these ratings. Do you want to join in? Then write us an article!
Advertising on the CC website: This is only allowed under very special exceptions, such as other blogchain projects. We do NOT intend to sell our service for a few or even several Euros/Dollars as our service grows and to bother our users with unnecessary advertising. Only good advertising, which we stand behind, is an option for us!
One idea we have is to offer you an automatic purchase of CC through Beneficiary's. With this we would like to encourage general laziness and take the burden of buying CC off your shoulders. In proportion to your Contribution Reward and the amount you set for us, you could very comfortably buy CC and be free from having to take care of it yourself. What do you think about this? Would this be cozy or would this be cozy? :-)
Disclaimer of liability: Last but not least, we would like to emphasize in this article how important it is for us that you know to invest a certain amount of trust in our project. We believe that without trust it would not work (even longer). We are always trying to keep our name and the name of the CC project clean. We want to earn your favor by delivering what we promise you.

So far, so good, we are of course very happy about your participation and after all these hours among us and tinkering with the system we are a little proud of how everything has developed. Still, there are many, many, many small and big things that we can and want to do better.
But we are a small, but nevertheless fine team. The "power" over the project is in the hands of @kristall97 and myself and is therefore not limited to one person. We are neither really centralized nor decentralized and think that we will continue to find a healthy mediocrity by expanding the project.
May the comments flow only because we are in this gap and try to promote healthy interaction between people on the Internet.

eine Woche ist es nun schon her, seit wir unsere Türen für die Öffentlichkeit wieder geöffnet haben. Während ich diese Zeilen schreibe, arbeitet @Kristall97 fleißig weiter am Code. Schließlich ist Wochenende und das heißt für uns (inkl. neuer Kaffeemaschine für Eric) weiter schaffen, was das Zeug hält.
Dieser Post, wird etwas Länger werden und ich werde ganz im Stil meines Gehirn-O-Mates versuchen, euch mit Informationen voll zu stopfen, sodas ihr nur noch Lila-Blass-Blau sehen werdet. Also Obacht gegeben. :-)
Zuerst einmal, was ist der aktuelle Stand der Technik und Dinge im Projekt?
Die Grundfunktion, dass man den Hashtag des CC benutzen kann und unser System zuverlässig darauf reagiert, scheint nun nach kleineren Stolpersteinen Flüssig zu laufen. Ich beobachte persönlich jede Transaktion und überprüfe sie. Noch ist das Möglich, weil wir natürlich nicht die gleichen Nutzerzahlen wie früher haben.
Unser System, hatte Probleme die Bots zu erkennen, dieser Fehler, ist jetzt nicht mehr aktiv! Der Schaden, ist Überschaubar und wir werden euch die Guthaben entsprechend auffüllen.
Viele wissen nicht, das wir unser System so aufgebaut haben, dass man auch ALTE Beiträge mit einem Hashtag CC ausstatten und damit automatisch die jeweiligen Kommentare entlohnen kann.
Wenn Du z.B. deinen #Introduceyourself Post etwas aufpeppen möchtest, editierst Du ihn einfach mit dem CC in dessen Hashtagleiste. Wir sind zeitlich unabhängig von den Blogchains und damit ein "Live" System.
Was NICHT funktioniert, ist den Hashtag in einen Kommentar oder direkt im Post zu verwenden. Dies schreibe ich, weil mir aufgefallen ist, dass manche dies Versucht haben. Leider werden wir euch diese Funktion auch nicht direkt anbieten wollen, weil der Rechenaufwand und die Fehlerquote dabei Immens werden würde. Schließlich sind die Buchstaben CC nicht gerade Einzigartig auf einer Blogchain. :-)
Weiter scheint nun auch die Payment-Funktion korrekt zu funktionieren. Falls das einmal nicht der Fall sein sollte, bitten wir euch uns einfach Bescheid zu geben. Erreichbar sind wir beide bis zum aktivieren des Support-Bereiches, am besten unter unseren jeweiligen Accounts.
Wie Eric euch schon mitgeteilt hat, ist das Öffnen der Website, auf bis nach dem Hardfork von Hive verschoben. Die Website und deren Funktionen, sollen schließlich Sicher und Ordentlich sein. Auch habt ihr vielleicht gelesen, das unser Dienst seinen eigenen Knotenpunkt bekommen wird, um Unabhängiger von den bereits bestehenden zu werden und die Belastung durch unser Projekt durch uns getragen wird. Damit können wir euch auch ein zuverlässigeres Angebot machen. Es gab nämlich in letzter Zeit Probleme mit der Blockchain, wie einige von euch mitbekommen haben dürften.
Das wohl Wichtigste für alle bisherigen Investoren und Nutzer des CC, wäre die Frage, was mit euren alten CC Guthaben auf der Steem-Engine passieren wird!
Ganz einfach, ihr dürft sie abschreiben. Denn die Guthaben auf der Steem-Engine, sind für euch nicht mehr zugänglich, seit unserem Wunsch dort delistet zu werden.
Spaß beiseite, ihr bekommt die alten Guthaben natürlich auf den neuen Festpreis unsererseits angerechnet und portiert. Entsprechend dem höchst Stand des alten CC-Preises aufgerechnet, wird wohl niemand groß Kritik daran finden dürfen. Einen kleinen Wermutstropfen, haben wir dazu dennoch zu verkünden. Wir hatten recht große CC-Guthaben an besonders fleißige Partner verteilt. Diese, werden auf ein vernünftiges Maß geschrumpft werden, um keine künstlichen Wale zu erzeugen. Bis auf weiteres, werde ich über 1300 Accounts manuell durchkalkulieren und anschließend die Guthaben verteilen.
Du weißt nicht mehr, wie viele CC Du hattest und möchtest überprüfen, ob wir dich Betrügen?

Auch sehr wichtig zu merken ist, das Du einen CC ENTWEDER auf dem Blurt, oder auf dem Hive, oder auf dem Steem vergeben kannst. Es wird nicht möglich sein, einen CC auf allen drei Chains zu vergeben! Damit steigt natürlich dessen Wert unweigerlich an. Auch ist vielen frühen CC-Mitgliedern bekannt, das wir andere Foren und Soziale Medien in unser System integrieren wollen. Dabei bleibt das Volumen immer Gleich.
Wo, kann ich meine CC denn eintauschen gegen Hive/Blurt/Steem?
Hier haben wir euch im Sommer mitgeteilt, keine Ausnahmegenehmigung seitens der deutschen BaFin bekommen zu haben und entsprechend KEINEN eigenen Marktplatz dafür anbieten zu dürfen. Das ist Schade, aber natürlich ist verständlich, dass wir uns mit dem Projekt nicht Strafbar machen wollen. Eine Ausnahme Lizenz für einen Marktplatz, ist leider deswegen nicht möglich, weil schlicht kein entsprechendes Gesetzt dazu existiert. Ich denke, wir hätten diese sonst nämlich bekommen, aufgrund unserer eher überschaubaren Größe.
So werdet ihr die nächsten Wochen also darauf warten müssen, das wir das System sicher genug gemacht haben, damit ihr euch die CC von Person zu Person zuschicken könnt und damit untereinander handeln dürft. Das ist Rechtlich gesehen, das Sicherste für uns alle. Vorerst, haben wir natürlich noch kein Neu Listing auf der Steem und Hive-Engine. Um das zu ermöglichen, könnten wir unter anderem eure Hilfe brauchen, in dem ihr die Verantwortlichen einfach danach fragt, ob es eine Pegged-Version unseres Coins dort geben könnte. Weiter sind wir auf dem Weg, externe Exchanges anzufragen.
Das alles, kann und wird vermutlich natürlich dauern! Aber Rom, wurde auch nicht an einem Tag gebaut, man munkelt, die ackern heute noch dran. :-)
Vielleicht ist es für euch auch interessant, was wir so an Geld in das Projekt gesteckt haben. Es sind rund 200 Euro im Monat für die Server der Bots und der KI. Das ist natürlich nicht wenig und fußt nur darauf, dass wir Erfolg damit haben werden, die Blogchains anzuregen, mit mehr guten Kommentaren eurerseits füllen zu lassen.

So ziemlich alles, was im Hintergrund statt findet. Der CC, ist jetzt ein Stand Alone Projekt und unabhängig von den Engines. Vor allem die Geschichte mit der Inflation, aufgrund der fehlenden technischen Möglichkeit, dass Projekt so zu gestalten, dass ihr die CC aus eurer Wallet vergeben könnt, ist endlich Geschichte.
