God wants us to walk in love and not to be hostile to one another. It is the will of God that we like Him. We know God as one that is slow to anger. It's by His mercy that we are not consumed. Even though many of us are deserving of His but due to His richness in mercy we are spared. Anger can be destructive. If we can't have control of our anger it will consume us and this could lead to us doing things that we might regret later on.
God wants us to live in peace with one another. Where we see a place that is lacking in peace and accommodates strife among the people it could be that the enemy the devil is present in their midst.
Galatians 5:22 KJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.
Long-suffering here talks about tolerance. It is among the fruits of the spirit and it is not less important than the rest. We should be tolerable to one another. Anyone that derives joy constituting mayhem doesn't know what it is like to possess long-suffering as a fruit of the spirit. Peace is always better off than chaos.
Some people don't have peace within themselves and that is why it is difficult for them to showcase it because they can't give what they don't have. But when we have the Holy Spirit in us, He instills peace in us and this makes it easier and possible for us to express it out and cause everyone that is around us to partake of it.
