However, there's another aspect of faith that some people fail to adopt and that has to do with taking action. Most times what takes us closer to what God has prepared for us is not prayers but the steps we took. God is a God that shows us the end from the beginning. It is the steps we take that will connect us from our present point to where God has predestined for us.
Our readiness to receive that which God has prepared for us is seen by the actions we take towards it. Whenever we pray to God in respect of something, the next thing we should entreat of Him is what we must do on our own path in order for it to be brought to reality. Sometimes the limitations we experience is as a result of our negligence to do what we should have done.
So when we pray for our daily bread, we should not sit at home and expect manner to fall from heaven, instead we should step out in respect of receiving it that God has made available for us. When we pray for a job we should not fold our hands and expect some to come to our house and give it to us, instead we should step out in faith and seek it, having the assurance to God has prepared it for us.
