https://youtu.be/vSX-kqrVyf4?si=71kyiqIHnzH89xFA Prayer is indeed a very important exercise which should be observed in the Christian faith. Apostle Paul encourages us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 to pray without ceasing. This means as continuously as we can we should make prayers to God almighty. But as much as prayer is important, we should not put aside action.
For every prayer we make there should be an action followed up with it. When Jesus prayed to his father concerning the fishes and loaves of bread, he instructed that his disciples commence sharing them to the multitude. That was action being carried out. When Esther and the people prayed to God, she went to the king and made her petition to him, and she was granted favour by him.
James 2:17 - Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
It requires believe in God to come before Him in prayers. But our true faith is being declared if after the prayer act on it. Most of our prayers are half way answered untill we act upon them. So whatever we pray and believe God for we are expected to step out. God says when we seek we shall find. This means taking a step of faith.
