https://youtu.be/DFhIujzvlvI?si=Rb7GX7yTHfjM-hPL We learn the importance of praying in the Bible. But there's also a place for acting. We can't substitute action with prayers. How many times are we expected to pray. The truth is we are expected to pray at all times. 1 Thessalonians 5 vs 17 tells us not to seize from praying. The Bible also told us that men ought always to pray. We don't wait for a special occasion or feeling before we commence praying. A life of prayer is a life that should be adopted by every christian. The spirit in us is willing to engage in spiritual exercises such as prayers, but our flesh always resists it. Doing the will of God requires that we put all the desires of the flesh and pay full attention to the spirit in us. The flesh can be the greatest enemy to us in our spiritual growth and walk with God. We don't pray only when things are good with us. We don't let circumstances determine whether we should pray to God or not. As a matter of fact it is at these times that we should not hold back from praying because we may end up letting the enemy have the upper hand against us. For a believer, prayer is our backbone. It is a mandate given to us by God that we should not refrain from doing throughout our days on earth.
