Good evening to the people of this community Hive Food; I want to present to you under family and food , Preparation of " okoro and vegetable soup" To start, we have different types of soup's like mellon, bitterleaf, cocayam soup and we equaly have pure vegetable soup and water soup which you will cook without any vegetable or any leaf at all. But today what iam presenting is the preparation of okoro and vegetable's, You can prepare okoro and vegetabls with "fish, meat,stockfish and meat depend's on your pocket financially . Now this the recipient's i used okoro and green vegetables and onoins and pepper, red oil, maggi, icefish, crayfish, salt,(small spoon of salt) You first arrange the vegetables wash it very well to avoid sand in your soup, you then sleazy it into pieces, then cut your okoro into pieces also and keep , and you know very well that every thing you are uesing to cook food must be washed and fish you will use salt to wash to aviod sand in it and other germs even though you are cooking it on fire.Then parboil your fish with onoins and maggi and pepper, salt and keep.You now light your Gas cylinder and add the quatity of water you want to use which will not be much because okoro and green vegetable contains natural water. Next is to add the parboled fish water add your red oil and pepper small now because of the one used to parboled fish then cover and allow to boil for about 30minuts then you add your crayfish and maggi cover to boil for about 5minuts again then you add fish so that it will scatter inside the pot befor the soup will be ready, Now you add okoro wait for about 3minuts to avoid the okoro changing from green to yellow colour, You can now add your salt why is to allow the okoro to thick then just after 2minutes you add your vegetable allow just for about 5minuts you bring you soup down to maintain the green colour of the leaf.Now your soup is ready.The vegetable and okoro all cotains minerial's and the increased blood percentage in the body, red oil contain's fat, pepper gives minerials to the body of course fish gives protein even minerials, salt gives iron and makes our teeth to be strong. Now you can serve your food to your family and friend's including visitor's as well.THANK YOU MY FAMILY FOR ENJOYING MY SOUP.
