For the truth to be said, there are distraction everywhere from time to time, minutes even seconds too like from From social media notifications to the daily challenges of life, it is very easy to lose track of one’s goals. Personally, I have had moments where I felt my attention drifting, but over time I discovered the things that help me remain focused and motivated.
One of the first is music. I genuinely love listening to music because it inspires me in ways that words alone cannot describe. Whenever I feel down or find it hard to concentrate, playing good music lifts my spirit and reminds me why I must keep going. Music, to me, is like a silent coach pushing me forward in every moment I feel down.
Another thing that keeps me grounded is my passion for baking and event planning. Anytime I get a job offer to bake or plan an event, I give it my best. These activities not only help me stay productive but also sharpen my skills and keep me away from unnecessary distractions. They push me to stay disciplined because I know people are counting on me to deliver.
Church is another strong source of focus for me. Whenever I attend service and listen to the choir sing or the pastor preach, I feel a renewed hope and reminded me of the bigger picture of life. The words of encouragement and the uplifting songs give me strength to avoid distractions and focus on building a good and successful life.
Lastly, I won't forget the impact of Hive, it has also played a role in keeping me focused. Reading motivational posts and books recommended by Hive members has improved not only my writing skills but also my mindset. Each post I read motivates me to write better and remain dedicated to growth.
For me, focus is not automatic, it’s something I work on daily. By surrounding myself with music, passion, faith, and community, I find the strength to stay on track even in a world full of distractions.
