Everybody loves food, everybody wants to eat good food especially food that you see and you have never tasted in your life, you will be curious to eat, to know what it tastes like, a kind of joyful feelings especially when it comes to the time you are feeling very hungry. You will just want to eat.
One thing I really admire about Korea is the way their food looks nothing concern me with the taste. As long as it's looks exciting to me but not only for eating, but also about culture and lifestyle. When I see Korean food on movies or pictures, it always look colorful and inviting. I have try some, and I also dream of some that I have not eat before but I imagine the taste.
I think Tteokbokki. I see it many times in Korean drama and movies, those red color rice cakes that look very spicy. Anytime I watch someone eating it in movies I just imagine the taste in my mouth. I think it will be some kind of chewy, hot, and sweet at the same time. One day I pray I got the opportunity I want to try it for real.
To be honest, first time I tasted kimchi in one of the foreign eateries in my area, don't even know I could find a meal of such there, first I was not sure if I will like it because the flavor was so strong. It is spicy, sour and salty at the same time. But after few bites, and leave it for minutes just staring at it and I try it again and this time it feels different It is crunchy and feel very fresh in the mouth. I later understand that almost every Korean meal have kimchi on the side.
Most of the time, eaten is not about filling our stomach up, it about the joy you derive eating it, the love you have in eaten with others, the culture of having people surrounded with happiness and love makes it fun and sweet. Korea is a place of culture, they place in every damn activities they do. To justify this food with their culture Tteokbokki show fun and street life while Kimchi show patience and health.
