As children grow up, they change their interest in choosing toys; many times they want objects that are in trend. As parents, we must be attentive to discern why they want it, i.e., are they trying to model or do they really want to know and learn? Amanda's desire to solve something that captures attention was the reason for acquiring the Magic Cube, as she knew it would have benefits in enhancing the cognitive and social areas. The Magic Cube is a toy that stimulates the resolution of the problem through steps and movements according to the degree of difficulty while perceiving the object, making use of spatial intelligence as an ability to observe the world in dimensions. It is intelligence developed in one more than others, but as all skills can be converted into capacity, the Cube is an alternative to developing spatial and logical intelligence by locating each colored piece that belongs to a face of the cube.

In my childhood, I could never give a solution to the cube and cheated. However, Amanda learned from her dad; she liked it as a child, and he was the mediator to learn. Her dad explained it to her, and Amanda immediately put the guidance into practice. Depending on the motivation, each move takes time to make the right move. Days went by dedicated to studying the cube; sometimes frustration set in and at other times screaming because she was close to building one side of the cube. The girl's challenge was focused on building a side; it became so constant that one fine day she succeeded. At school, Amanda helps her classmates, some of whom just want to see her, some of whom want to have the cube assembled, and some of whom want to learn how Amanda did it. Among friends, it may be more or less of a process. I am proud to see my daughter do something I never could, and she sees it as easy, i.e., turning the right puzzle pieces to keep all the pieces on one side of the cube. In addition, there is variety in the market: the traditional, 3x3, 2x2 and favorite characters.

Amanda and her dad now take the time to build the one-sided cube. The game has more fun in competing with and beating the father, who was the guide for her to learn. Amanda has decided that it is mom's turn to assimilate this process, but you can't imagine how abstract it is for me to understand, but I recognize that I must take on the challenge and develop spatial intelligence. To take the perfect route, means to assimilate the dimension of the structure; to analyze and memorize possible directions in mental ideas that operate to constitute the unit. In addition, this game allows you to rethink different angles, exercise your memory, enhance fine motor skills (hidden-manual) and spatial orientation (up, down, right and left); therefore, I recommend the Magic Cube for all ages and thus delay the aging of neurons. At the moment, Amanda is practicing to assemble 2 faces completely and to keep evolving.
