Earning in my Nigeria is very hard, and the main cause of the problem and hardship is the country is from our leaders and bad governance. They are only there for themselves and family, the country is only favouring them, the politicians and people who have connections in high places. The promises this our leaders made to us before being elected are never been fulfilled, they neglected it and forget the poor masses that put them there. The root of corruption in the country is mainly from them.
Due to increment in price of fuel and the scarcity of fuel, it has affected the means of transportation, price inflation, feeding and house rent and the rest, the cost of living in Nigeria is now very high, prices of things keep inflating. What you bought to today in the market, tomorrow the price will be multipled by three of what you bought before.It keeps increasing on a daily basis. Our currency doesn't have value, you can easily spend but to earn back is hard. The country is now survival of the fittest.
Civil servants and salary earners their salaries are never increased and salaries are not paid according to the services they rendered. These people are paid peanut by the time they clear their bills and expenses, they are left with nothing. This is like working like an elephant and eating like an ant.
As a graduate you finish school to get a job is like a war front, after hoping when you graduate you will get a well paying job. Some will get job but not based on what they studied, due the frustration and stress of getting job, they now settle for the less. Some places you will go for an interview, and you know pass the interview instead of giving you the job, they rather give it to their loved ones or relatives who have ordinary O'level certificate or nothing. This is how bad and corrupt the country is, thats to say without connection and knowing the most influential people, you won't get a good job, you are on your own.
Now due to how hard the Nigeria is, people are now leaving the country to other countries for greener pasture. The hardship has made some people to involve themselves in evil and dangerous acts like kidnapping, robbery, kiling and scaming and other dubious things to make earns meet, thinking that that is the best way to make it and earn money. While some good ones being not lazy has engaged themselves in learning trading and business, skills and acquisition and some are into content creation on all our social media platforms, hive inclusively and other various online trading.
In conclusion to earn in Nigeria is hard, and our government and leaders are the source of our problem, i think they need to do better. In all these despite hardship in the country, people are still pushing it and having fun out of it, hoping for a better tomorrow.
