My workplace is in a store inside a shopping mall, and every year they celebrate Halloween with a two-day event. They usually hold costume contests, recreation, and entertainment for children, and certain fast food restaurants serve Halloween-themed food.
In Venezuela, few people celebrate Halloween in a big way, with the occasional costume and themed party. In my case, if I ever dressed up, it was for Carnival, never for Halloween, ha ha ha.
This time, I participated in handing out candy, where I stole a lot, ha ha ha. I gave away several because I had already gotten tired of sweets. We all put on masks in the office and handed out candy. Honestly, it was crazy, with many children hyper from the sugar, jumping and bouncing around to see who could get the most.
It was a curious experience because of the crazy energy of the children as they passed by, which overwhelmed me a little because the little ones were stepping on each other. I was afraid of tripping and falling on top of someone. The next day, we continued eating candy and watched the costume contests. I also ran into a friend who gave me a brownie with eyes and bones on it. Thinking they were soft, I ate them and almost knocked out my braces, ha ha ha. As I was finishing it, I found it funny because it looked like a screaming face, ha ha ha.

Mi lugar de trabajo es en una tienda dentro de un centro comercial, cada año celebran Halloween con un evento de dos días. Suelen hacer competencias de disfraces, recreación y animación para los niños y en ciertos lugares de comida rápida sirve comida con la temática de Halloween.
En Venezuela son pocos los que celebran Halloween a lo grande, unos que otros disfraces y fiestas con la temática. En mi caso si me llegué a disfrazar fue en Carnaval, nunca en Halloween jajaja.
Esta vez participé en la repartición de caramelos, donde me robé muchísimo jajaja, regalé varios porque ya me había cansado del dulce, nos pusimos mascaras todos en la oficina y repartimos caramelos, sinceramente fue una locura, muchos niños acelerados por el azúcar, brincando y saltando por ver quien obtenía más.
Fue curiosa la experiencia por la energía loca de los niños al pasar, lo cual me abrumó un poco por los más pequeños que se pisaban entre si, me dio miedo tropezarme y caerle a alguien encima. Al día siguiente seguimos comiendo caramelos y vimos las competencias de disfraces. También me encontré con una amiga y me regaló un Brownie con ojos y huesos, que pensando eran blandos los comí y casi me quito la ortodoncia jajaja ya casi finalizándolo me causó gracia porque parecía una cara gritando jajajaj
