Life in school was never as smooth as I hoped it would be. I came with dreams, ambitions, and the determination to succeed but reality quickly reminded me that the journey wouldn’t be easy I have to repeat it again it is not easy.

The hardest part wasn’t just the academic workload, but the financial struggle. Catering for myself was a daily challenge. Sometimes I had to skip meals just to save a little for essential needs. The most stressful moments were when school fees were almost due. I remember one particular semester when the deadline was only a few days away, and I still didn’t have the full amount. In my school, missing that deadline meant missing the entire semester. The thought alone was enough to make want to make me give up. But I stand to my because I have made up my mind to see it through.

In those moments, depression tried to creep in. The weight of uncertainty made me question if I could really make it. But whenever I was close to giving up, there was one thing that kept me going singing.

I have always loved music. Being part of the choir in my student fellowship was more than just a hobby; it became my therapy. Each rehearsal was a safe space where I could forget my worries for a while. Singing allowed me to release the emotions I couldn’t put into words. The harmonies, the uplifting lyrics, and the shared passion among choir members reminded me that there is beauty even in difficult times.

The choir wasn’t only about music; it was a family. We encouraged one another, prayed together, and sometimes even supported each other financially. Standing on stage, singing praises, I felt a sense of purpose that went beyond my personal struggles. It gave me the strength to push through all of every each challengey.

Looking back now, I realize that my love for singing was not just an escape it was my anchor. It kept me connected to hope, to faith, and to the belief that better days and brighter days are coming. Even in the darkest moments, I learned that holding on to what you love can be the light that guides you through everything all.
