I am stuck In Missouri right now with this cold front that moved down from Siberia. I wanted to make it home to see the grandkids for Christmas but I will have to do Facetime with them this year.
I did not want to take the chance of getting broke down and having to sleep in the step van in this cold weather it would have been miserable. I think the step van is ok but I thought it was ok when I broke down going to the Block Party in Tennessee also. It is a little bit cold here in Missouri as most of you know because the cold hit most of the U.S. The last few days it was below zero with wind chills and sometimes below zero without wind in Missouri.
Here now it has warmed up to 3 degrees and tomorrow it will reach about 17 degrees. Next week it will be in the high 50's during the day and 40's at night. Lucky for me I am able to stay inside a friend's house here in Missouri till I can get home after the first of January.
This winter has been a challenge for me as far as traveling goes but I am hoping it will get better. Just got to keep on, keeping on! Going to be fine no matter what happens as I try to keep a positive attitude about things and not let things get me down. ALWAYS FORWARD!
