What is Memorial Day to you? Is it about just the three-day weekend? It is all about the BBQ or playing at the lake or river? That is what it is all about to many people, I do not fault them for that line of thinking, it is because many do not know what this holiday is really for. Many have not been taught what Memorial Day is all about.
Memorial Day is a day of mourning for the loss of the lives of many soldiers who fought for this country. Remembering them and also their families. I am not saying that having a BBQ or doing whatever you do to remember the loss of the lives of the service men and women fighting for our country. People mourn differently, and how you do that is fine, but please remember those servicemembers who gave their lives in service to this country, not just an excuse to grill out and have an extra day off from work.

Whatever you do on Memorial Day, please remember all the soldiers who gave their lives for the freedoms that we enjoy, and also remember the families of those servicemembers because they lost a loved one.
