-@merit.ahama For the longest, I've always wanted to hone my skill in the fashion world, but I didn't have enough fund to do so.  In my country, it cost quite a fortune to attend a standard fashion school, so I began saving a whole lot. I remember some days, I'll stay hungry so that I can meet up with my saving goals and today I'm so excited that the long awaited journey is almost coming to reality.  I started in January and it's been a lot for me. To be honest, at some point I felt like quitting because it's very draining.  Anyone who knows me on Hive, knows how consistent I was, never will a day go by without me showing up here. Writing, engaging and all but all of that changed when I registered for the fashion course. Fashion is board, it requires not just skill, but patience, sleepless night and most importantly creativity. Worse of all is the deadline I have to meet every now and then for new project and it's not been easy. One thing that keeps me going is knowing that some day all of these will pay off. I recall some years back I attempted a prompt in this community about where I would love to see myself in the next five years. I'm so happy that the dream is gradually coming to an end, because I have taken this bold step already. I know after fashion school, it's gonna be a game changer for me. The experience, expertise, exposure and all I've gained in the course of my training has honed me and seasoned me to the best version of myself. I can't wait to get my life back together, that is stay active here as well and also merge my fashion business like before. I think this choice is for the best, at the end, I'll earn more than I've spent, cause at the moment, I already have people who are waiting for me to finish so that they can learn from me too. It's like a dream come true. Looking back at how far I've come makes me smile regardless the stress I been through.  I can confidently make anything without fear, blazers, wedding dress, cargo pants, hoodie, regular dress, Corsertry and the likes. I'm so honored to have chosen a path that I find passionate and that's been my biggest achievement this year.
