___ ___  Pakistan is currently facing a worrying situation. Floods and rains have wreaked havoc across the country. In our area too, crops and animals have suffered a lot due to floods and rain. In some areas, people's homes, fields, and livestock have been trapped in the river floods. I made a plan with my friend to see the raging waters of the river.   Sunday is a holiday. My son and I, along with Yousaf, left home at 2 pm and reached the Sutlej River as planned. It has been raining continuously for the past few days, so we had to stop for a while due to rain on the way.    Some people have already made arrangements to save their crops. These people have reached a higher place with their crops, where there is no danger of floodwater reaching them. They have set up their camp here to stay safe from the rain. They have done all this with their own help and are now safe from the flood, but still, the floodwater can be seen from here, and whenever a big flood passes, the water will reach here.        There are many villages on the banks of the Sutlej River. It can be clearly seen that the water is touching the banks of these villages. Those who have built their houses inside the protective embankment and are living there are facing a lot of difficulties. Now they have been forced to migrate. As you can see in the pictures, people are looking for a safe place in their household. These people, covered in mud, are loading their household goods on a tractor-truck π, which was brought here with the help of a boat. But the irony is that they had to pay a heavy price to bring these goods, which is many times higher about 50 thousand to one Lakh. The crops of these people have been washed away in the water, including paddy, cotton, animal fodder, and dry straw. They have no food for themselves and their animals.     The safety walls (dam) has been built to stop the water from flooding, which protects many villages. Its repair process is also underway and the cracks in it due to rain have been closed. I am present at this safety dam. Some people are setting nets to catch fish here. We have stopped by them for a while and have collected information about the flood from them. The water level is said to be normal, which means there is no danger of the safety dam breaking yet.    I saw a cottage on the bank of the protective dam that I found very beautiful. It must have been used for shade in the summer. Along with it, a local has beautifully built a boat that has been tied with various drums. This boat is used to go to the village inside the water where there is no water flow at all.  We have just reached the place on the banks of the river Sutlej where the rescue team is trying to pull people out of the slab. Flood relief camps are also being set up here so that people can get food and shelter.      A lot of time has passed and we have decided to return home. At a short distance, we have seen some fish points. Seeing them, we are starting to feel hungry. My friend has also ordered regular fish. After buying the fish, we have fried it. This fish is delicious in terms of taste.
