My Routeen Activity of the Day

I go out for a walk early in the morning. On the way, I see sacks of potatoe seeds on the side of the road. The land is completely prepared for cultivation and the process of sowing potatoes is completed in another field. Potatoes crop are often transplanted at night so that soil moisture is maintained and germination occurs properly.

On my return, I go to drop the children off at school.

After dropping the kids off to school, I came home and started to rest and fell asleep. I don't know what caused the problem.

Once again I have to go to school because it's time for the childrens to pickup. At half and one o'clock children have to be picked from school and dropped home.

We got home at about two o'clock and just planned to go to the fields to look at the crops. On the way I saw a crane loading soil into a trolley. I captured it from a short distance.

Since I have come to inspect the crop, I have seen wastage of paddy crop being burnt in the beside field. The law considers this act as a crime, but it is also prosecuted.

I have sprayed in the past few days so I wanted to see how effective the spray has been as my daily routine includes going to see and inspect the crop on a daily basis to see if there is any disease attack so that it can be addressed in time. I have carefully inspected the sweet potato field and noticed that the roots, soil are cracking where I noticed a large crack, so I decided to dig up the soil from there to see what the condition of the sweet potato can be.

I have started to dig up the place to see how far and how many sweet potatoes are there. When I dig up the ground I can see sweet potatoes and a lot of them are visible from the root.

Now I have started to put soil on it again so that it can be covered by the soil and it will grow with its routine.

My neighbor who had grown a rice crop and has just harvested it, he is going to sell it in the market, he has packed his rice crop in sacks and loaded it on a rickshaw so that he can go to the market and sell it. The market price is about 4500 rupees per 40kg. I think it might be a good price.

After spending some time here and talking with the laborers I decided to bring them back.

After that I come back home and take the chickens out of their coop to spend time in the open air because being confined to one space in the coop stunts growth.

My daily activities are completed here. It is not a very busy day but still I have shared with you the daily routine.
