Your own place where you live or a rented place. These can be houses or flats. Since people travel from one city to another for business or a job and do not have a permanent place to live, as we all know, jobholders often move from one city to another for transfer, so they have to rent a house or flat. The tenancy system is common in cities and people prefer to rent rather than build their own house. | Growing Trend of Renting | |--| In villages, most people have their own houses and they live in these houses. If someone does not have their own house in the village, then the landlords provide houses to people without rent. This process has been going on in rural areas for centuries and people are living a simple life. But on the contrary, when we look at urban life, we see different things there. People have built flats and apartments that are rented and live in them. The people who live in these houses pay monthly rent, which is completely opposite to village life. | Some Important Aspects for the Tenant | |--| Things to keep in mind before renting any house to avoid any problems or financial loss Before renting a house, keep this thing in mind: Your office should be near the school, market, and hospital so that you do not have to face any problems later Electricity, gas, and water facilities should be available because if these are not available, then you will face problems later Choose a house by looking at your budget If you like the house but it is out of your budget, then later you will have to face financial problems, so choose a house according to your budget and decide how much advance to give and how much the rent will increase every month Also see what the environment of the place you are renting, what the attitude of your neighbors is, cleanliness of the streets, these things are very important Here is one thing to keep in mind Keep in mind that you should check carefully that there is no need for repair anywhere in the house because often there may be some problems in the water wiring or electrical wiring and you may have to face these problems later because the place looks good from the outside but if any defect is found in it then it will cause trouble for you. It is better to make a contract before renting a house. Everything is written in it, like how much your rent is, how much the advance will be, and what percentage the rent will be every month. So all these things are for your benefit. | Tenant Responsibilities | |--| When you rent a house, you have certain responsibilities. You are responsible for treating the house as your property and protecting it just like an owner would. Pay the rent on time. Take special care of the cleanliness of the house. Behave well with the neighborhood rules and neighbors. | Landlord Requirements | |--| If we look at it from the landlord's perspective, he has several expectations of us that the tenant must meet. The landlord wants him to get the rent on time so that he does not have to bother the tenant again and again and there is no need to ask for rent from him. Responsibility for maintaining and protecting the house. He wants the tenant to consider his house as his own and protect it and if there is a need for repairs, he should tell the landlord. Some tenants are noisy and annoy the neighbors as well as being rude. The landlord wants his tenant not to read about the problems in the neighborhood. Rather, he should cooperate with him in solving the problems so that his relationship with the neighborhood and the residents remains strong Every landlord wants their tenant to keep their word while staying with the property and in no case do their relations deteriorate. | Tenant and Landlord Relations | |--| A good relationship between the landlord and the tenant is very important to create ease in life. If ever the relationship deteriorates, it can be resolved easily. The problem should be resolved immediately through discussion. Respect each other so that the relationship can be resolved and remain better. | Tenancy Problems | |--| It is often heard that there are many problems in the tenancy system, such as the landlord increasing the rent without any reason, not returning the advance, delaying the rent, or many problems arising regarding the repair and safety of the house, which can be resolved through negotiation | Legal Importance of Tenancy | |--| Pakistan has a Tenancy Law, which I am the one who determines the amount of advance rent and the notification of leaving the house. All these rules make it clear that if they are followed, there will be no quarrel and the relationship will always be good. | Conclusion | |--| Let me tell you here that I live in the village and I have my own personal house. I have not yet come across any of the problems mentioned above between the tenant and the landlord. But I do know that if the relationship between the landlord and the tenant is good, life can be lived easily. The clear rules should be followed. The tenant should pay the rent on time and also protect the house. The landlord should be gentle because a tenant should not be harassed because of their lack of investment or not getting their salary. He must be given a chance to live with you in a good way because increasing the rent or vacating the house without notice is not a good practice. Rather, matters should be settled by talking to each other in a civilized manner. | πΈππ π¦π₯ ππ | |--|
