Friends of the agricultural mindset, I welcome you to my third blog, which is related to sweet potatoes. @mattsanthonyit We need curators who visit our agricultural posts and if they think these posts are good, they should support them. Now let's move on to our topic. Before going to the topic, I am sharing the links to the previous two blogs here so that you can read them too.

The sweet potato seedlings have been shifted to the field, and it is time to spray them to prevent weeds from growing in them. To protect the crop from unnecessary weeds, I have bought a spray from the market, which is named Recall, and have also hired a worker who will spray it for me with the help of a sprayer. This tank stores about 20 kg of water and four tanks are required in one acre. 250 ml of spray will be poured into each tank. This spray must be done within 24 hours of watering so grass or other weeds cannot grow.

The worker started filling the sprayer tank with water. We didn't have to go far for this. There was a water facility in the corner of the field. When half the tank was filled with water, we put 250 ml of spray in it and then filled it again. The worker lifted the tank and started spraying. It took about half an hour to spray one acre. I had to pay the worker labor costs of Rs. 600, about **10 Hive**. Thus, our spraying process is complete, and I hope that grass, etc., will not grow anymore. If the grass grows, then we will have to uproot the grass with the help of more labor.

The field has dried up and it is time to water it because new leaves ๐ฟ ๐ have not yet started to emerge from the seedling. When water is applied, it will start to sprout new shoots quickly.

We will water our field through an agricultural water pump, which I have chosen. Its water will be released into a small stream that will go straight to the field through the stream.

Water has entered the field from the stream, and in about one and a half to two hours, it will fill the field because two hours of water from this water pump is too much for the field. I have to water up to a level at which the moisture can be maintained for a few days. The moisture in the field can be maintained for about five to six days. After that, more water will be needed. Our water is now complete and I have just turned off the water pump so that no more water enters the field.

The water has been finished and the next day I inspected the field again. There is still water in the field but its level is very low. When I looked at the sweet potato seedlings, new leaves were emerging because the crop had been captivated for eight to nine days, and the roots would also start to grow in these seedlings. Due to this, new leaves have started emerging. The previous leaves may look yellow in the pictures. This is my first experience, and I want this crop to benefit me, so I am experimenting with it and next year I may be able to cultivate it on a larger scale. Friends who have cultivated this crop and continue to do so should definitely contact me.
