___ ___ Today is our second day in the sweet potato crop. The earth layer of the vines is in progress. The previous day, we had worked on half an acre, and at about one o'clock, we decided to rest because my partner was very tired and had finished a flower garden. I left him at his village which is about three to four kilometers from here. The next day he himself reached me during his morning walk and started his work. Since I have to drop the children off at school, I reach the fields very late. It is still a bit dark, so he leaves his house for a walk and reaches here without having breakfast, so I have to give him breakfast. For breakfast, sometimes egg and potato curry, and sometimes egg omelette and paratha with it, which he is also fond of. After eight o'clock, we both turn the vines over together so that their new roots cannot grow in the moisture of the earth again. Our crop has been two months and ten days old. It is up to you, as I told you in my previous post, that fertilizer has to be applied. I took seven bags of DAP and 14 kg of potash SOP fertilizer. I had already turned on the water pump so that the water would reach the field. I have taken a drum and a can in the drum. Now I am pouring water. When half the drum is filled with water, I will prepare its solution by adding DAP. When the DAP dissolves well, I have added potash and am shaking it well. Now, at the end, I have to spray Chloropyrifos in it, and now our solution is completely ready. The water has also entered the field. I have left its spout so that it mixes with the water and goes into the field and its benefits reach the crop. I have already told you people that I have sprayed bran so that our vines stop growing and give all my strength and attention to the sweet potatoes so that they We have been watering the field for about three to four hours and our field is almost full of water. We have to water it lightly and the water level should be at a certain level because excess water is harmful to the crop. The next morning, during a walk, I inspected the field to see what the water situation is. The soil has absorbed the water and there is moisture left in it. This is a good practice because as soon as it is, it absorbs water. Its importance is given to direct crop. Stay with me. I will share the next update after about a week when the bran or potash spray will be applied again. | πΈππ π¦π₯ ππ | |--|
