Hello everyone...Today got me doing this in the early hours of the day Just in class, came to see no duster to use on the chalk baord.

I had to get some pieces of clothes to prepare a duster. Couldn’t wait for the pupils, had to do it my self. It was actually fun. Creating a duster with some pieces is actually a simple and nice hobby for me. The materials used in the sewing of the duster were: pieces of clothes, a needle and thread…as shown below:

I first started by putting the thread in the needle to the acquired length which will take me up for the whole sewing.

I used part of the material which was big enough to contain the rest of the pieces of clothes

I folded the piece of cloth into equal two parts...I started sowing the part of the piece of cloth folded.

I sowed till I got to the edge, OI now turned to other part...sowing also till I arrived the edge as well making a U-shaped sowing.

It was actually a nice experience doing this with my students watching me in Class.

getting through with the sowing...one part of the folded material was still open. I gathered the rest of the pieces of clothes and folded them together to ease it passing through into the opened U-shaped sowed material.

After this, I had to sow the open part together so as to have a complete duster.

This was what I created out of the pieces of clothes I gathered from a nearby shop. Isn't this a nice one? Its quite interesting doing this...and I so loved it.

I had to test-run the duster on the chalkboard to see its efficiency...
