Feliz lunes mi gente hermosa de needlework monday. Que gusto poder saludarles nuevamente y desearles un bendecido día. Primero que nada doy gracias a Dios por regalarme este día para seguir mostrando lo mejor de mi en cada proyecto de costura.
Happy Monday, my dear sewing friends. It's a pleasure to greet you again and wish you a happy day. First of all, I thank God for giving me this day to continue giving my all to every sewing project.
Today I want to show you my latest sewing project. It's a cute and elegant blouse for teens. They also like to look beautiful and elegant at the same time. Ruffles on blouses give them that touch of elegance we're looking for, and they're also very fashionable. Making this blouse requires time, patience, and dedication to achieve a beautiful result. Without further ado, we invite you to read this tutorial to the end. Join me.
Materiales que utilizaremos. * Tela. * Tijera * Hilo y agujas. * Patrones. * Cinta métrica. * Lápiz. * Elástico de 3 cm o menos.
Materials we'll be using.
- Fabric.
- Scissors.
- Thread and needles.
- Patterns.
- Tape measure.
- Pencil.
- Elastic 3 cm or less.
To begin this project, the first thing we'll do is create a paper or fabric pattern with the design we want. This is the shape I want for the main blouse piece. We'll cut a pair (front and back). I'll also show you the lines where you should cut, since this blouse design has ruffles that will go between the seams we'll make on the front.
Now that we have the shape we want, we cut a piece of fabric to the measurements you prefer. You can make it large or small, as long as it's the size you want. This is the shape of the main piece of the blouse; it's very easy. You can make it without a pattern, just with the socks. I used another blouse in my daughter's size, folded the top, and placed it on the fabric, tracing the outline and cutting a pair.
Fold the front piece and measure 5 cm inwards, mark a vertical line as shown on the pattern and cut to divide the front.
It's time to add the ruffle to the front of the blouse. To do this, cut a very long, not-too-wide strip to allow enough room for the sleeves. It should measure about 4 cm x 50 cm long. Gather this strip and sew it back to the front of the blouse, insetting the ruffle.
We cut a thin strip to cover the seam of the ruffle and at the same time it will look like the strap of the blouse.
When sewn, it should look like the picture. We also sew the edges of the front and back of each piece.
Join the front and back pieces and sew the sides if you forgot to sew the back straps. You'll also add a ruffle to the bottom of the blouse. Cut a strip measuring approximately 10 cm x 40 cm, gather it, and sew it to the bottom, leaving a 5 cm margin that you'll fold over to insert the elastic.
Fold the remaining centimeters from the bottom and sew on the wrong side.
This is how the seam should look on the front, all that's left is to insert the elastic.
Finally, we insert the elastic at the bottom and sew. Done! This is our cute and elegant ruffled blouse for the little princesses in our house. We can also try making one ourselves and look cute and elegant on special occasions.
Whenever I can show you my projects, it gives me great satisfaction, since I create them with great love and effort. I hope you enjoyed them as much as my daughter and I did. Thank you for reading until the end. I hope to be with you soon, showing you my new work. Take care and have a great day, God willing.
