Aquí les comparto un avance más en la construcción. El domingo 2 y lunes 3 de noviembre estuve libre de mi jornada laboral semanal: el domingo por ser mi día de descanso y el lunes por ser festivo aquí en Colombia, así que, como muchos de ustedes ya saben, estos son días que aprovecho para seguir construyendo y expandiendo mi casa.
Continúo con la construcción de la habitación secundaria. En el contenido pasado les mostré la terminación de los muros o paredes, así que ahora me dispuse a realizar el encofrado de las vigas de amarre y el vaciado de las mismas, además de algunos detalles pendientes. El domingo lo tomé para encofrar y terminar ciertos detalles, y el lunes para vaciar en concreto las vigas de amarre.
Quiero resaltar que para el vaciado de estas vigas es importante mantener una buena proporción entre arena, cemento y piedra, para que queden bien compactas, ya que prácticamente ellas también reciben el peso de la estructura del techo. Primero les voy a mostrar el trabajo del domingo.

In my previous post, I showed you the finished walls, so now I've set about building the formwork for the tie beams and pouring the concrete, as well as finishing a few remaining details. I used Sunday to build the formwork and complete certain details, and Monday to pour the concrete for the tie beams.
>I want to emphasize that when pouring these beams, it's important to maintain a good ratio of sand, cement, and stone so they are well compacted, since they practically also bear the weight of the roof structure. First, I'll show you the work from Sunday.
Estos fueron mis andamios improvisados pero seguros, bien asegurados con alambre, tubos y listones de madera. La verdad, trabajé muy cómodo; me resultó muy ingenioso este sistema de andamios.
Después procedí a realizar el encofrado. Es un poco trabajoso hacerlo solo, pero con calma fui avanzando poco a poco, sin mucho apuro. El tiempo es importante en una construcción, pero hay momentos o tareas que requieren paciencia y dedicación.
>These were my makeshift but safe scaffolding structures, securely fastened with wire, pipes, and wooden slats. I was very comfortable working on them; I found this scaffolding system quite ingenious.
>Afterward, I proceeded to build the formwork. It's a bit of work to do alone, but I calmly made progress little by little, without rushing. Time is important in construction, but there are moments or tasks that require patience and dedication.
Para el siguiente día, es decir, el lunes 3 de noviembre, procedí únicamente con el vaciado en concreto. Este proceso realmente es rápido; creo que lo que más demora en este tipo de trabajo es el encofrado. Ahora solo me toca esperar unos cuatro días a que el concreto haga su trabajo y retirar parte de las tablas para encofrar la contracara de los muros que ven en las imágenes, ya que solo me alcanzó para vaciar dos de las cuatro vigas, porque cada viga requiere dos tablas y solo tengo cuatro en total.
>The following day, Monday, November 3rd, I proceeded only with the concrete pour. This process is actually quite quick; I think the most time-consuming part of this type of work is the formwork. Now I just have to wait about four days for the concrete to set and then remove some of the boards to form the back of the walls you see in the pictures, since I only had enough to pour two of the four beams, because each beam requires two boards and I only have four in total.
Aún me queda material para vaciar las otras dos vigas; posiblemente lo esté realizando el próximo domingo. Aunque, ahora que recuerdo, creo que solo me falta comprar un bulto más de cemento, porque me queda medio bulto nada más. Luego de esto, comenzaré a pegar ladrillos para dar la caída al techo.
>I still have enough material to pour the other two beams; I'll probably do it next Sunday. Although, now that I think about it, I believe I only need to buy one more bag of cement, because I only have half a bag left. After that, I'll start laying bricks to create the roof slope.
