Almuerzo navideño del trabajo - Seguimos con la tradición

Desde hace algunos años ya, hemos tenido la tradición de tener un almuerzo navideño con nuestros compañeros de trabajo, hay años en los que lo hemos hecho en la oficina misma y cada uno se encargaba de algo, pero este año salimos a comer. Fuimos a un restaurante que se llama "La vaquera" que es de carne en vara, la verdad me sorprendió que tuviera un menú navideño y que es súper conocido en San Cristóbal porque tuvo su auge hace algunas décadas, la verdad tenía mucho tiempo sin ir y quedé muy sorprendida, han tratado como de refrescar su imagen y está bastante bonito. La comida por otra parte estuvo deliciosa y muchísima! Lo diferente de este plato es que en vez de ser lomo horneado o asado negro, es que es cerdo a la parrilla con una salsita, me gustó ese toque que nos recordó que es un restaurante de carnes. También nos dieron una donita de postre con café y al principio de la comida un pequeño brindis con sangría, sino me equivoco el precio de ese plato era 14 dólares, que me parecio bastante razonable para la cantidad y la calidad de la comida. Estuvimos conversando y pasando un rato ameno, casi nos dieron las 3 de la tarde. Es bonito cuando tus compañeros de trabajo no son solo eso, sino personas con las que has forjado bonitos lazos de amistad. We went to a restaurant called "La Vaquera" which is a meat restaurant, I was surprised that they had a Christmas menu and it is very well known in San Cristobal because it had its heyday a few decades ago, the truth is that I had not been there for a long time and I was very surprised, they have tried to refresh their image and it is quite nice. The food on the other hand was delicious and lots of it! What is different about this dish is that instead of being baked pork loin or black roast, it is grilled pork with a sauce, I liked that touch that reminded us that it is a steak restaurant. They also gave us a donut for dessert with coffee and at the beginning of the meal a small toast with sangria, if I am not mistaken the price of that dish was 14 dollars, which seemed quite reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. We were chatting and having a nice time, it was almost 3 o'clock in the afternoon. It is nice when your co-workers are not just that, but people with whom you have forged beautiful bonds of friendship. I hope to keep this tradition for next year!
