September was probably the busiest month of the year. We started off strong with an event called ‘SEMTUR’ that took place here in the city, where the NGO I am part of presented a collection from one of our projects that teaches people from communities in our city how to knit. But we had to put the collection together, which took many days of knitting, and then participate in the event, which ended with a catwalk presentation of the items. We even made a wedding dress. On the other hand, September was full of social commitments, dates with my boyfriend, and birthdays. There was always something to do. I also travelled within the state, but to the mountains with my friends, on a somewhat formal trip where laughter and camaraderie were never lacking. I also had a day trip to Colombia for shopping. I received my yellow flowers on 21 September, something that had never happened to me before, and to close the month, we ended our Yellow September campaign with our traditional delivery of origami flowers, accompanied by a mini talk on mental health and free psychological helpline numbers.
Septiembre creo que ha sido el mes más movido del año, empezamos fuerte con un evento llamado "SEMTUR" que se dió aquí en la ciudad, dónde con la ONG de la que soy parte pudimos presentar una colección de uno de nuestros proyectos que se basa en enseñar a tejer a personas de comunidades de nuestra ciudad, pero teníamos que hacer la colección y fueron muchos días tejiendo y luego la participación en el evento que se cerró con una presentación en pasarela de los mismos, incluso hicimos un vestido de novia. Por otro lado, septiembre estuvo lleno de compromisos sociales, citas con mi chico y cumpleaños, siempre había algo para hacer. Asimismo, estuve de viaje dentro del estado pero en las montañas con mis amigos, en un viaje algo formal pero donde las risas y el compañerismo nunca faltaron, también tuve una escapada de un día a Colombia por compras. Recibí mis flores amarillas el 21 de septiembre, cosa que nunca me había pasado y para cerrar el mes, culminamos nuestra campaña de septiembre amarillo con nuestra típica entrega de flores de origami que vienen acompañada con una mini charla sobre salud mental y números gratuitos de atención psicológica.
