¡Hola, hola mis queridos amigos de Hive! Espero que les este yendo muy bien en esta semana. Les cuento que mi semana ha sido bastante movido y finalmente este fin de semana hemos conseguido algo de calmita. Hoy les quiero comentar algo que me llena de mucha emoción y es que en mi pueblito se hicieron las fiestas de carnavales, y si, se que ya pasó hace un buen rato pero aqui se llevaron a cabo las fiestas como una octavita, lo que significa que se celebraron las fiestas después de carnaval. Lo cual para nosotros nos fue sumamente bien porque descansamos lo suficiente preparandonos para los días que nos venían y es que nos tocó cubrir el desfile de carnaval que se organizó en mi pueblito.

Today I want to tell you something that fills me with a lot of emotion and that is that in my little town the carnival festivities took place, and yes, I know it's been a while but here the festivities took place as an octavita, which means that the festivities were celebrated after carnival. Which was very good for us because we had enough rest to prepare for the days that were coming and we had to cover the carnival parade that was organized in my little town.
Amo cuando llegan estas celebraciones porque disfruto mucho de las decoraciones y de la gran cantidad de imaginación que manejan ciertas instituciones y comunidades que participan. Aunque en este año la cantidad de comparsas fue menos que el año pasado, eso no quiso decir que haya bajado la calidad de las presentaciones, al contrario, siento que subió muchísimo más.
> I love when these celebrations arrive because I really enjoy the decorations and the great amount of imagination that certain institutions and communities that participate manage. Although this year the number of comparsas was less than last year, this does not mean that the quality of the presentations has gone down, on the contrary, I feel that it has gone up a lot more.
Mi pueblito es pequeño pero grande y a pesar de todo siempre da lo mejor de si y con el show que montaron cada uno de los participantes para optar por el primer lugar de este concurso lo dejan totalmente demostrado. En estos carnavales vimos comparsas de negritas, princesas de Disney y otros personajes, vimos también un grupo inspirado en la guarachera del mundo: Celia Cruz, en el circo y muchas más.
>My little town is small but big and despite everything it always gives its best and with the show that each of the participants put on to opt for the first place in this contest, they totally demonstrated it. In these carnivals we saw comparsas of negritas, Disney princesses and other characters, we also saw a group inspired by the guarachera of the world: Celia Cruz, in the circus and many more.
La verdad es que todos dieron lo mejor de sí. Este año el esfuerzo por ganarse el premio se vio. Hasta la escuela donde estudie parte de la primaria y mi secundaria completa formó parte del evento y de eso me fui a quejar con uno de los profesores que me dio clases por que ¿como es posible que mientras estuve estudiando no pudimos participar en una sola comparsa? Eso era indignante para mi y me quejé con fundamento pero bueno, los tiempos cambian y estas generaciones de relevo resultaron tener mucho más poder de convencimiento que nosotros jajaja. Claro, también esta el otro punto de que ahora el profesor que me dio clases en primaria resultó ser el nuevo director de la escuela y él, al contrario del director anterior y dueños de la institución, es más flexible respecto a participar en este tipo de actividades por lo que se le perdona jajajaja. Ojala hubiera pasado cuando aún era estudiante para cumplir mi sueño de formar parte de una comparsa pero bueno ya llegará el momento ¿verdad?
> The truth is that everyone gave their best. This year the effort to win the award was visible. Even the school where I studied part of my elementary school and my entire high school was part of the event and I went to complain to one of the teachers who taught me because how is it possible that while I was studying we could not participate in a single comparsa? That was outrageous for me and I complained with foundation but well, times change and these new generations have much more convincing power than us hahaha. Of course, there is also the other point that now the teacher who taught me in elementary school turned out to be the new director of the school and he, unlike the previous director and owners of the institution, is more flexible about participating in this type of activities so he is forgiven hahahaha. I wish it would have happened when I was still a student to fulfill my dream of being part of a comparsa but well, the time will come, won't it?

Me divertí mucho este día y más que trabajar fue un momento de entretenimiento con la ventaja de tener pase VIP para ver todo de primera mano gracias a mi trabajo ajajaja pero nosotros no terminamos aquí, ya que al día siguiente tuvimos que cubrir otra pauta igual de divertida.
> I had a lot of fun this day and more than working it was a moment of entertainment with the advantage of having a VIP pass to see everything first hand thanks to my job hahaha but we did not end here, because the next day we had to cover another pattern just as fun.
Al día siguiente nos tocó cubrir el tradicional concurso de negritas y este año me asombró la cantidad de personas que participaron debido a que solo unos dos años antes solo se inscribieron cuatro personas y esta vez hubo más de ¡trece personas! Fue un record en lo que llevo trabajando y cubriendo este tipo de eventos. Pero la pasamos super bien y disfrutamos bastante de las ocurrencias y el show que dieron todos los concursantes.
> The next day we had to cover the traditional boldface contest and this year I was amazed at the number of people who participated because only two years before there were only four people registered and this time there were more than thirteen people! It was a record in what I have been working and covering this kind of events. But we had a great time and enjoyed the witticisms and the show that all the contestants put on.
Estas fiestas de carnavales estuvieron espectaculares, poco a poco son más las personas que quieren formar parte de estas actividades y eso me llena de alegría. Ansío como se prepararan para el año próximo.
