Nunca he sido de esas personas que les gusta rumbear por varios días seguidos, sin embargo, cuando salgo a disfrutar de una buena noche de baile y disco me la disfruto al máximo, y en mi época universitaria la disfrutaba más si era con mis amigos en Caracas...
Hello friends, today I bring you another memory of my college days, this time, partying in Caracas... I have never been one of those people who like to party for several days in a row, however, when I go out to enjoy a good night of dancing and disco I enjoy it to the fullest, and in my college days I enjoyed it more if it was with my friends in Caracas...
En una de esas tantas visitas que yo solía hacer a nuestra espectacular capital, no podía faltar que de vez en cuando disfrutara de la vida nocturna que una ciudad metrópolis como Caracas puede ofrecer, además si estaba en la compañía de mis mejores amigos se disfrutaba el triple.
In one of those many visits that I used to make to our spectacular capital, I could not miss that from time to time enjoy the nightlife that a metropolis like Caracas can offer, plus if I was in the company of my best friends I enjoyed three times as much.
Recuerdo que esta noche fue una salida bastante improvisada, Guillermo Moran, otro de mis hermanos de vida (así le digo a mis amigos del colegio con los que aún tengo contacto), también cursaba su carrera en Caracas y se entero que yo estaba de visita quedándome con Andrea Chacón que vivía muy cerca de él. Esa noche nos llamó a mi toquis y a mi para que saliéramos con él ya que tenía esa rumba planificada. Nosotras no dudamos ni un segundo en decirle que si y también invitamos a nuestro Team que en ese entonces estaban ready para cualquier plan que saliera y obviamente también se unieron para hacer un grupo más grande y así pasarla aún mejor...
Guillermo Moran, another of my brothers in life (this is what I call my friends from school with whom I still have contact), was also studying his career in Caracas and he found out that I was visiting staying with Andrea Chacón who lived very close to him. That night he called my toquis and me to go out with him since he had that rumba planned. We did not hesitate for a second to say yes and we also invited our Team who at that time were ready for any plan that came up and obviously they also joined to make a bigger group and have an even better time....
De todas las veces que salimos a hacer vida nocturna en Caracas, esta fue una de las salidas más especiales, no solamente estaba todo el Team si no también estaba nuestro amigo/hermano Guillermo con nosotras. Él es un amigo demasiado incondicional, nos conocemos desde los 9 años de edad y además es super protector, nos cuida demasiado, no solo a nosotras si no a todas sus amigas, un verdadero caballero.
Of all the times we went out for nightlife in Caracas, this was one of the most special outings, not only was the whole team there but also our friend/brother Guillermo was with us. He is a very unconditional friend, we have known each other since we were 9 years old and he is also very protective, he takes care of us, not only of us but of all his friends, a true gentleman.
También estaban Arturo (el hermano de mi toquis) y su primo así que salir con ellos nos hacía sentir muy seguras y tranquilas, ya que como saben cuando un grupo de mujeres solteras (como éramos en ese entonces) sale de noche, se presta para que siempre se acerque algún fastidioso a querer arruinarnos la noche de diversión. Eso no nos ocurría porque nosotras siempre salíamos bien cuidadas con los chicos de nuestro grupo y en esta ocasión con Guillermo que también nos cuidaba mucho.
Arturo (my toquis's brother) and his cousin were also there, so going out with them made us feel very safe and calm, because as you know when a group of single women (as we were back then) go out at night, there is always the chance that some annoying guy will come around to ruin our night of fun. That didn't happen to us because we always went out with the guys in our group and on this occasion with Guillermo who also took good care of us.
Nuestras salidas nocturnas no eran como normalmente hacen las chicas solteras para buscar parejas, ambas sabíamos que ese no era el mejor sitio para conocer algún pretendiente. Nosotras salíamos era a pasarla bien con nuestro grupo de amigos y a disfrutar de buena música, por eso cuando salíamos de noche era con ellos o con cualquiera de nuestros otros amigos que sabíamos que se encargaban de mantener ese orden en nuestro entorno para evitar algún momento incómodo en la noche con algún extraño.
Our night outings were not like single girls usually do to look for partners, we both knew that this was not the best place to meet a suitor. We went out to have a good time with our group of friends and enjoy good music, so when we went out at night it was with them or with any of our other friends who we knew were in charge of maintaining order in our environment to avoid any awkward moment at night with a stranger.
Nos arreglamos y nos fuimos, esa noche bailamos, cantamos y la pasamos genial hasta el amanecer...
We got dressed up and left, that night we danced, sang and had a great time until dawn....
Al día siguiente yo me regresaba a Maturín y literalmente llegué de la disco a las 7am con la neblina del amanecer a bañarme y a agarrar las maletas para salir al aeropuerto... Gracias, gracias, gracias siempre por compartir, comentar y votar mis post. Hasta la próxima 😁❤️
